Our Muskoka limousine service runs from Toronto and Pearson to Gravenhurst, Bracebridge, Huntsville, Port Carling and the lake resorts via Highways 400 and 11. The drive takes 2 to 3 hours, longer on summer Fridays. TorontoAirportTransfer.services quotes a fixed all-in fare first; planning figures to Huntsville or Bracebridge are $495–630 in a business sedan, plus HST.
Muskoka limousine service: the run from the city to the lakes
Muskoka is where much of Toronto goes in summer, and the Toronto to Muskoka run is one of our busiest long-distance routes between May and October. Your chauffeur collects you at home, the office or Pearson arrivals, takes Highway 400 north past Barrie, then Highway 11 into Muskoka: Gravenhurst first, then Bracebridge, then Huntsville at the northern edge. For Port Carling, Windermere, Minett and the western lakes the route leaves Highway 11 at Bracebridge or Gravenhurst and follows the regional roads between Lake Muskoka, Lake Rosseau and Lake Joseph.
This is a door-to-door service. The car goes to the resort lobby, the cottage laneway or the marina where your boat is waiting, not to a bus stop in town. For international visitors landing at Pearson and heading straight to a lake resort, it removes the hardest part of the trip: a three-hour drive on unfamiliar highways after an overnight flight.
Planning fares from Toronto and Pearson to Muskoka
The planning band covers Huntsville and Bracebridge from Pearson or central Toronto. Gravenhurst is usually a little less; Port Carling, Minett and cottages on the northern lakes can be a little more. The reservation engine quotes your exact address.
| Vehicle | Passengers / bags | One way, all-in (planning figure) |
|---|---|---|
| Business sedan | 3 / 3 | $495–630 |
| First-class sedan | 3 / 3 | about $745–945 |
| Executive SUV | 6 / 6 | about $625–820 |
| Luxury van | 6 / 6 | about $625–820 |
| Sprinter van | 14 / 14 | about $1,090–1,390 |
HST is shown separately. The fare covers the chauffeur, vehicle, fuel, any 407 ETR tolls, and gratuity. A one-way fare includes the chauffeur's drive back to the city. For a wedding weekend, corporate retreat or several cars moving guests in both directions, a coordinator prices the whole programme in writing.
Where we drive in Muskoka
We serve all of Muskoka and the surrounding cottage country. The most frequent destinations are the towns along Highway 11 and the resorts on the big lakes:
- Gravenhurst: the Muskoka Wharf, lake steamship docks and cottages on the southern end of Lake Muskoka.
- Bracebridge: the district's central town, with cottages on Lake Muskoka and the smaller lakes around it.
- Huntsville: the northern gateway to Algonquin Park, with resorts including Deerhurst on Peninsula Lake.
- Port Carling and Windermere: the heart of the big three lakes, reached by the regional roads.
- Minett and Lake Rosseau: resorts including the JW Marriott The Rosseau.
- Lake of Bays, Rosseau village and Parry Sound: on request, with fares from the engine.
Resorts are places we drive to; we are not affiliated with them. For planning a visit, Discover Muskoka is the regional tourism site. Our Muskoka and Blue Mountain page has more on the destinations themselves.

Cottage-season Fridays: timing the Highway 400
Anyone who has driven north on a summer Friday knows the problem. From late June until Labour Day, and especially on long weekends such as Canada Day, the Civic Holiday in August and Labour Day, Highway 400 between Vaughan and Barrie fills from mid-afternoon to evening. A drive that takes two hours at 10 a.m. on a Tuesday can take four on a Friday at 4 p.m.
| Departure from Toronto | Typical time to Bracebridge |
|---|---|
| Weekday morning (after 9:30 a.m.) | 2 h – 2 h 15 min |
| Friday before noon | 2 h 15 min – 2 h 45 min |
| Friday 2–7 p.m., summer | 3 h – 4 h |
| Long weekend Friday afternoon | 3 h 30 min – 4 h 30 min |
| Sunday return, afternoon | 3 h – 4 h southbound |
Our advice is to leave before noon on a Friday or after 7:30 p.m., or go on Thursday evening. The return on Sunday afternoon is the mirror image; Monday morning is usually lighter. The fare does not change with traffic; the chauffeur simply takes the time needed. Dispatch checks Ontario 511 before every departure.
From Pearson straight to the lake
Many Muskoka trips start at the airport. Visitors fly into Pearson from Europe, the US or western Canada and want to be on the dock that evening. The chauffeur tracks your flight and meets you at the terminal's pre-arranged commercial pickup area after customs and baggage; the optional meet and greet add-on puts the chauffeur inside the arrivals hall with a name board. International arrivals include 60 minutes of waiting from actual landing, Canadian and US 30 minutes.
From Pearson the car heads up the 427 and 409 to the 400, avoiding downtown. If you have a long-haul flight behind you, the car is the place to sleep; the chauffeur will wake you as you come into Muskoka. For flights into Pearson on summer Friday afternoons, we will talk timings through with you when you book. Our Pearson airport limo page explains the pickup at each terminal.
Weddings and events in Muskoka
Muskoka resorts host a large share of Ontario's destination weddings. The ground transport is usually two parts: guests coming up from the city or Pearson, and shuttles between the hotel, the ceremony site and the reception on the day. We run both. For the drive north, a Sprinter moves 14 guests with bags; for the day itself, sedans and SUVs for the couple and family, and Sprinters for guests.
Stretch limousines, Rolls-Royce and Maybach cars, party buses and coaches are fulfilled through vetted partner operators in the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network, and a coordinator prices the programme in writing. See our wedding limo page for how we plan wedding days, and allow for the fact that some resort venues are a fair distance apart on winding roads.
Corporate retreats and offsites
Companies book Muskoka resorts for leadership retreats, sales conferences and client events, and moving 20, 50 or 100 people from downtown Toronto on a weekday morning is the kind of job we plan well in advance. Sprinters work for teams of up to 14; for larger groups, coaches from partner operators, priced in writing.
Executives who need to be on calls during the drive book a first-class sedan or SUV individually. Our corporate car service sets up accounts with monthly invoicing and a single point of contact at dispatch, which makes a retreat with arrivals from several cities much easier to run.
Muskoka in winter and the shoulder seasons
Muskoka is not just a summer place. Fall colours from late September to mid-October draw day trips and weekends; winter brings ski and snowmobile trips, and resorts with spa packages. In winter, the Highway 11 corridor north of Barrie gets heavy lake-effect snow squalls off Georgian Bay, and conditions can change quickly between Barrie and Gravenhurst.
All our cars run winter tires from late fall. Dispatch checks the Environment Canada forecast before winter departures and will call you if a storm means leaving earlier or later. Cottage laneways that are not plowed are a real issue; tell us at booking whether the road is maintained in winter, or we will meet you at the nearest plowed point.

Muskoka limousine service vs bus, train or driving yourself
There are public options. Ontario Northland runs coaches from Toronto to Gravenhurst, Bracebridge and Huntsville, and seasonal coach services also operate on the route; the ride to Huntsville takes several hours with stops. Ontario Northland has also been working to restore passenger rail on its Northlander route through Muskoka; check its site for the current status.
The coach drops you in town, and cottages are rarely in town; you still need a local taxi or a friend with a car. Driving yourself means Friday traffic at the wheel, and a car sitting at the cottage. For a family or group, a private car to the door at the time you choose is often not much more than coach tickets plus a local taxi. If you are travelling alone and light, the coach is the economical choice.
Boat access cottages and marina drop-offs
Plenty of Muskoka cottages are on islands or on shorelines with no road at all. For those, the car drives to the marina, public dock or boat launch where your boat or a water taxi meets you, and the chauffeur unloads everything onto the dock. Give us the exact marina name and the time the boat is expected, and we will aim to arrive 10 to 15 minutes ahead so nobody waits on the water. If the boat is late, the included waiting applies and then 15-minute blocks, so it pays to agree the handover time with whoever is bringing the boat. On the way back, the chauffeur waits at the same dock; send a message to dispatch when you leave the island so the car is in place when you tie up.
Choosing the vehicle for cottage country
Cottage trips carry more stuff than airport runs: coolers, cases of drinks, fishing rods, a dog, bikes, a paddleboard. A business sedan takes three people with three suitcases, which is fine for a resort weekend. For a family going to the cottage for a week, book an executive SUV or luxury van; for two families together, a Sprinter.
Tell us about anything unusual when you book: a dog crate, a canoe paddle bag, a bicycle. Rooftop cargo is not something we carry, so larger items may need a bigger vehicle. Child seats are on request and added at booking; the child car seat transfers page covers the options.
Booking your Muskoka limousine service
Enter your pickup address or flight in the booking engine, your Muskoka destination (cottage address, resort name or marina), the date, time and vehicle, and confirm the fixed fare. In the notes, add gate codes, a description of the laneway, and whether the car can turn at the end.
The chauffeur's details come the evening before. Cancellation is free more than 72 hours before pickup, 10 % from 72 to 48 hours, 50 % from 48 to 24 hours, and the full fare inside 24 hours or on a no-show. Book summer Fridays and long weekends early; they fill first. Compare other distances on our rates page.
