A Toronto stretch limo seats eight to ten passengers and is rented by the hour, typically with a four-hour minimum; planning figures run $225–330 an hour. TorontoAirportTransfer.services supplies stretch limousines through vetted partner operators in the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network, and a coordinator confirms the exact vehicle, hours and all-in price in writing before you pay.
Toronto stretch limo service: how it works with us
We will say this plainly at the top: TorontoAirportTransfer.services does not own stretch limousines. Our own dispatch runs sedans, SUVs, luxury vans and Sprinters. When a client wants a Toronto stretch limo, our coordinators book one from a partner operator vetted through the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network, check the specific vehicle's age, condition and paperwork, and put the booking in writing under our standards. You deal with one contact from enquiry to drop-off. That arrangement is normal in this trade, because stretch limousines sit idle most weekdays and very few companies can justify a large fleet of them. The honest part is telling you so rather than implying every car wears our name.
Stretch limo prices in Toronto
Stretch limousine pricing is hourly, not per trip. Planning figures for a partner stretch run $225–330 an hour with a four-hour minimum, and Saturday evenings in June, September and December sit at the top of that range. The written quote is all-in: chauffeur, vehicle, fuel, gratuity and any tolls or parking on the planned route, with HST shown separately. Extra time is billed in clear increments if the night runs long, and the coordinator confirms that rate in the quote so there is no negotiation at 1 am. For a straight transfer, such as a hotel to a venue with no waiting, a sedan or SUV from the Toronto limo service page is usually far better value.
| Stretch type | Typical seats | Best for | Planning rate |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lincoln or Chrysler 300 stretch | 8–10 | Proms, birthdays, dinner nights | $225–285/h, 4 h min |
| Cadillac stretch | 8–10 | Weddings, formal events | $255–330/h, 4 h min |
| SUV stretch (where available) | 10–14 | Larger groups wanting a limo look | on written quote |
| Party bus (for 16+) | 16–36 | Groups too big for a stretch | $330–525/h, 4–5 h min |
Stretch limo sizes: counting heads properly
A stretch advertised for ten carries ten adults sitting close along the side bench and rear seat. Eight is comfortable for adults in formal clothes, especially wedding dresses with trains or guests who want to move around. For a prom group in gowns, plan eight in a ten-seater. If the group is eleven or more, a stretch SUV or a small party bus is safer than squeezing, and the coordinator will say so. Seatbelts are fitted for the rated capacity, and the chauffeur will not leave with more passengers than belts. For groups of twelve to fourteen who care more about comfort than the classic look, a Sprinter van is roomier and cheaper per hour.
What is inside a stretch limousine
Most stretch limousines in the Toronto market share a layout: a long leather side bench facing a bar console, a rear bench across the back, and a privacy partition to the driver. Expect ambient and fibre-optic lighting, a sound system that pairs with a phone, mirrored or panelled ceilings, and ice wells or glassware holders in the console. Some have television screens. Condition varies more than the brochures admit, which is why our coordinators look at the specific car rather than the operator's website photos. If a feature matters to you, such as a working partition or a sound system that takes Bluetooth, put it on the booking so it is checked before the day.

Alcohol and stretch limousines in Ontario
Many people assume a limo bar means drinks on the move. In Ontario that is not automatically so. Section 42 of the Liquor Licence and Control Act, 2019 prohibits driving or having care or control of a motor vehicle while it contains liquor, except under the authority of a licence or permit or when the liquor is sealed or packed away out of reach. The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario regulates licences and permits. Our partner stretch limousines do not operate as licensed premises, so there are no open drinks aboard. Soft drinks and water are fine, and sealed bottles can travel packed away to your venue.
Minimum hours and how the clock runs
The four-hour minimum starts at the booked pickup time and ends at the final drop-off. Partner operators set minimums because a stretch limousine must leave its garage, be cleaned and staged, and return, which eats most of an evening regardless of distance. If your plan is shorter, for example a 90-minute wedding ceremony and photo loop, you still pay the minimum, so it is worth using the time: add a photo stop, a pickup at a second home, or a late ride from the reception. Time runs continuously, including when the chauffeur waits outside a restaurant. Overtime is billed at the rate quoted, and the chauffeur will check with the organiser before going past the booked end time.
Popular stretch limo itineraries in Toronto
A few itineraries come up every week. The dinner-and-downtown night starts in the 905, collects guests at two or three homes, runs to a King West or Yorkville restaurant, then on to a club or lounge before looping home. The wedding run takes the bridal party from a home or hotel to the ceremony, on to a photo location such as the Distillery District or a waterfront park, and then to the reception. The prom run collects students at one house for photos, drives to the venue, and returns at a set time. The birthday tour takes in the CN Tower view from the waterfront and a late dinner. The Distillery District guide has notes on vehicle access.
Stretch limos for weddings
Stretch limousines remain the most requested wedding vehicle for bridal parties because they carry six to ten people in one photogenic car. White and black are the usual colours; ribbons and bows can be requested. The coordinator will map the timeline with you: pickup at the getting-ready location, travel to the ceremony, a photo session, and the reception arrival, with buffer time at each step. Many couples pair a stretch for the wedding party with a Rolls-Royce for themselves. Everything on that is on our wedding limo page, including guest shuttles for venues outside the city.
Stretch limos for proms and graduations
Prom season in the Toronto area runs mostly through May and June, and stretch limousines book out weeks ahead. School boards and individual schools set their own rules on limousine arrivals and on what students may do before the event, and parents usually handle the booking. Our partner stretches run alcohol-free, the chauffeur follows the parent-approved itinerary only, and the organiser receives the chauffeur's name and number. Detailed parent guidance, including party-bus comparisons and pickup times, is on the prom and graduation limo page.
Birthdays, bachelorettes and nights out
For a birthday, a stag or a bachelorette, a stretch limousine gives a group of eight a shared space between stops and a dramatic arrival. The best nights are planned to the hour: where the group meets, which venues, and when the last drop-off is. Build in time at each stop, because a group of eight takes a while to get in and out of a long car, especially in heels. If the plan involves venues in several neighbourhoods, tell the coordinator; some streets downtown have stopping restrictions in the evening and the chauffeur will need a legal place to wait. Ideas and planning tips are on the bachelor and bachelorette page and the birthday limo page.
Stretch limos to Niagara, wine country and casinos
A stretch is a popular way to take a group to Niagara Falls, Niagara-on-the-Lake wineries or a casino night. Distance changes the maths: Niagara Falls is roughly 90 minutes to two hours from downtown each way depending on the QEW, so a Niagara day in a stretch usually needs eight to ten hours. Wineries set their own group rules and many ask larger groups to book tastings ahead; check with each winery through Wineries of Niagara-on-the-Lake. For wine days, some groups find a Sprinter more practical because of the higher roof and easier access. The Niagara wine tours page compares both.

Airport runs in a stretch limo: usually not ideal
We get asked for stretch limousines to Pearson, and we usually steer people elsewhere. A stretch has a small trunk, often space for three or four suitcases at most, and a four-hour minimum that makes a one-hour transfer expensive. Pearson's commercial pickup areas are also laid out for normal-length vehicles. The exception is a special occasion where the arrival is part of the event, such as a honeymoon departure with light luggage. For most airport trips, an executive SUV carries six people and six bags for a fraction of the price, and a Sprinter handles a larger group with all its luggage.
How our coordinators vet a partner stretch
Before a partner stretch goes on a booking, the coordinator checks the items clients cannot easily see. Is the operator licensed where it is based, and is the vehicle insured for paid passengers? What model year is the car, and when was it last inspected? Is the chauffeur employed by the operator and licensed for the vehicle? Are photos current rather than stock images? Partner operators are drawn from the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network and held to the written standards of LimousineAssociation.International. The coordinator also lines up a back-up vehicle for weddings, because a flat tyre on a Saturday in June should not end the day. More on that model is on the network page.
How to book a Toronto stretch limo
Start with the date, the headcount and the rough plan: pickup addresses, venues and the latest drop-off. Enter them in the reservation engine or on the booking page and choose stretch limousine; because partner availability must be checked, a coordinator prices it in writing, usually the same day. The quote names the vehicle type, colour, hours, overtime rate, all-in price and HST. Confirm and pay, and the cancellation terms apply as printed: no charge more than 72 hours before pickup, 10 % at 72 hours or less, 50 % at 48 hours or less, and 100 % within 24 hours or on a no-show. The chauffeur's details arrive before the day.
Questions to ask any stretch limo company
Whoever you book, ask these questions and get the answers in writing. What year and model is the vehicle, and can I see a current photo of that car? How many seatbelts does it have? Is the price all-in, or will fuel, gratuity or cleaning fees be added? What is the overtime rate? What happens if the vehicle breaks down: is there a back-up? What is the cancellation policy, measured from when? Does the operator hold the licences its municipality requires? Companies that hesitate on any of these deserve a second look. Our answers are on the confirmation, and the FAQ covers the general policies.
