Tel Aviv to Toronto Pearson has no nonstop flight in September 2026, but Air Canada says it will resume its Tel Aviv–Toronto nonstop on 30 November 2026. Until then, travellers connect through Europe or the US. TorontoAirportTransfer.services tracks the flight that lands at Pearson, includes 60 minutes of waiting and drives to North York for a planning figure of $105–135, all-in before HST.
Tel Aviv to Toronto Pearson: the current picture
This is the route on this page where schedules have changed the most. As of 22 September 2026 there is no nonstop between Ben Gurion Airport and Toronto Pearson. Air Canada has announced that its Tel Aviv–Toronto nonstop will resume on 30 November 2026, four times a week in the winter season on Boeing 787 aircraft, earlier than the January 2027 date it had first announced. El Al does not currently fly to Toronto. Until the nonstop returns, travellers from Israel connect through European hubs or US gateways. Because announcements on this route can change at short notice, confirm your itinerary with your airline shortly before you travel. For the transfer, we only need the flight number of the leg that actually lands at Pearson.
What the transfer includes
You book online, give us the arriving flight number and your address, and the reservation engine shows a fixed fare for each vehicle class. That fare covers the chauffeur, the vehicle, fuel, airport fees, 407 tolls if the chauffeur uses the highway, and gratuity, with HST shown separately. On the day, dispatch follows your flight and times the chauffeur to its actual landing. After customs and baggage you walk to the terminal's pre-arranged commercial pickup area, and the chauffeur messages you where to find the car. No meter, no surge, no negotiation. The general service is described on our Pearson airport limo page.
Connecting itineraries and which terminal
With a connection, your Toronto terminal depends on the airline flying the last leg, not on Tel Aviv. At Pearson, Air Canada and most Star Alliance partners use Terminal 1, so the Air Canada nonstop, when it restarts, will most likely land there; flights from US hubs and on other alliances may use Terminal 3. Rather than guess, check your boarding pass or enter the flight number in our Pearson terminal finder. If a family is arriving on two different connections, one chauffeur can wait for both; the free Terminal Link train connects the terminals. Flights arriving from US airports that offer US preclearance still clear Canadian customs at Pearson on arrival.
Time difference and landing times
Israel is seven hours ahead of Toronto for most of the year. Both observe daylight saving time on different dates, so for a few weeks in March and around late October the gap is six hours. Connecting itineraries via Europe often land in Toronto in the afternoon or evening; the Air Canada nonstop's winter timetable will set its own arrival time, so read your booking. Evening arrivals can catch the tail of the rush hour on the 401 heading toward Bathurst Street. At 11 pm, North York is often 25 minutes from Pearson; at 5:30 pm it can be 50. The fare stays the same.
Entry requirements for Israeli citizens
According to the Government of Canada's entry requirements by country, Israeli citizens travelling on a national Israeli passport need an electronic travel authorization (eTA) to fly to Canada, not a visa. Travellers holding an Israeli "travel document in lieu of national passport" are on the visa-required list instead. Apply for the eTA on the official canada.ca page using the passport you will travel with. Canadian-Israeli dual citizens generally need a valid Canadian passport to board. Other nationalities should check IRCC's visitor pages. If you connect through the United States, you also need to meet US entry rules for the connection.
Customs at Pearson
Arriving passengers go to the Canada Border Services Agency kiosks or eGates, answer the declaration and see an officer. The optional Advance Declaration in ArriveCAN can shorten the first step. Declare all food, including sealed packaged goods, and cash of $10,000 or more. With a connection, the bag you collect in Toronto has travelled on two aircraft; if it does not appear, file the report at the airline desk in the baggage hall before you leave, and message dispatch so the chauffeur knows. The included hour of waiting usually covers a missing-bag report.

Included waiting and flight changes
International arrivals include 60 minutes of waiting from the actual landing time. A missed connection that puts you on a later flight is common on multi-leg trips; send us the new flight number and the chauffeur's timing moves with it. A delayed flight costs you nothing. After the first hour following landing, waiting is billed in 15-minute blocks, and dispatch always messages you first.
Meet & greet for parents and first-time visitors
The fare includes curbside pickup at the commercial pickup area. Add meet & greet, a planning figure of $25–35, if you are bringing parents or grandparents over, if the traveller does not use a smartphone, or if you simply want someone inside the arrivals hall with a name board after a long connection. The chauffeur helps with the trolley and walks the traveller to the car, and can message the family when they are on their way. Book airline wheelchair assistance separately where needed. See our airport meet and greet page.

Where Tel Aviv travellers head
Toronto's Jewish community, and many Israeli expatriates, are concentrated along the Bathurst Street corridor running north from the city through Forest Hill and North York, and on into Thornhill in Vaughan and Markham. That is where most of our Tel Aviv arrivals are going: family homes, synagogues, schools and community events. Our North York transfers and Vaughan transfers pages cover those drives in detail. Business travellers, including many from Israel's technology sector, head to the Financial District, the MaRS area near the University of Toronto, or to offices in Markham and Kitchener-Waterloo. Students go to the downtown campuses and York University.

Arriving before Shabbat and holidays
A practical point that matters on this route: if you land on a Friday afternoon and want to be home before Shabbat, give yourself a margin. Customs, bags and Friday rush-hour traffic on the 401 can add up to two hours from touchdown to your door, and in December sundown in Toronto comes before 5 pm. Book the earliest practical connection, add meet & greet to save minutes in the terminal, and tell dispatch about any time constraint in the booking notes. The same applies before the High Holidays and Passover, when many families fly in together and the arrivals hall is busy.
Business travel between Israel and Toronto
Toronto and Israel share strong business ties, especially in technology, life sciences and finance, and many of our Tel Aviv arrivals are coming for meetings, conferences or investor visits. While the nonstop is paused, those travellers usually land after a long connection, so a first-class sedan with a quiet rear cabin is a sensible upgrade at about half again the sedan fare. Teams travelling together can share an executive SUV or a Sprinter, and a corporate account consolidates bookings and invoices. For a day of meetings between downtown, Markham and Kitchener-Waterloo, book an hourly chauffeur, a planning figure of $130–150 an hour in a sedan with a three-hour minimum. Our roadshows and investor meetings page shows how multi-stop days are planned. If you have meetings in Montreal or New York next, we drive those as long-distance transfers.
Vehicles for families and groups
A business sedan takes three passengers with three bags. A family flying in for a holiday or a simcha, with gifts and car seats, usually needs an executive SUV or luxury van for six passengers and six bags. For a large family group or a delegation, a Sprinter carries up to 14. For weddings and bar or bat mitzvah celebrations, we coordinate stretch limousines, Rolls-Royce and Maybach cars, party buses and coaches through vetted partner operators in the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network, with a coordinator's written quote. Compare classes on the fleet page and see cultural and religious celebrations.
Children and car seats
Whatever the exemptions for taxis and buses, we fit the right child seat for every child who needs one. We provide infant, convertible and booster seats on request, free or a planning figure of $10–15 each, installed before the chauffeur leaves for Pearson. Add them at booking with the children's ages. The province's car seat guide explains which seat suits which child. Families with several young children should book an SUV or van so every seat fits properly.
Winter arrivals
The Air Canada nonstop is scheduled to restart in late November, straight into Toronto's winter. Snow and freezing rain can slow the drive along the 401 and up Bathurst Street. Our chauffeurs check Environment Canada warnings before leaving for the airport, and every vehicle runs winter tires. Pack a coat in your carry-on; you step from the terminal into the cold for only a moment, but it is a big change from the Mediterranean coast.
The return leg
For the flight back, allow at least three hours at Pearson before an international departure; flights to Israel can involve extra security screening at check-in, so many travellers allow more. The chauffeur drops you at the correct departures curb. Our how early to arrive at Pearson guide covers timing by day. Cancellation is free more than 72 hours before pickup, then 10 % within 72 hours, 50 % within 48 hours and 100 % within 24 hours or for a no-show. Given how often this route's schedule has changed, book the transfer after your flights are confirmed and update us if anything moves.
