A casino limo from Toronto usually means one of two trips: Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto at Woodbine Racetrack in Etobicoke, about 10 minutes from Pearson ($90–120 one way in a business sedan, all-in plus HST), or Casino Rama Resort near Orillia, roughly 150 km north. Evenings out are usually booked hourly: $130–150 per hour in a sedan, 3-hour minimum.
Casino limo from Toronto: two very different trips
Toronto's two big casino resorts could hardly be further apart as car trips. Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto sits at Woodbine Racetrack in north Etobicoke, a few minutes' drive from Pearson and 30–40 minutes from downtown. Casino Rama Resort is on Rama First Nation land near Orillia, on the shore of Lake Couchiching, a proper highway drive of around 90 minutes to two hours from the city.
That difference shapes the booking. Woodbine is a short transfer or a compact evening; Rama is a day trip or an overnight, often combined with a show. TorontoAirportTransfer.services quotes either in the reservation engine before you confirm, with the chauffeur, fuel, tolls where used and gratuity included and HST shown separately. Neither casino is affiliated with us; they are places we drive to, and their own sites are the authority on hours, shows and entry rules.
Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto at Woodbine
The resort is operated by Great Canadian Entertainment on the Woodbine Racetrack property off Rexdale Boulevard, near Highway 427 and Highway 27. The address its own site gives is 1133 Queens Plate Drive. It combines a large casino floor, an on-site hotel, restaurants and a theatre that hosts concerts and comedy, and it sits beside the racetrack itself.
Entry is for guests 19 and over, and the property asks for valid government-issued photo ID. There is a large enclosed parking garage and a paid valet, but a chauffeur is the simplest option if you intend to enjoy a drink at the tables or a show: the car sets you down at the main entrance and comes back when you text.

Getting to Woodbine from Pearson, downtown and the suburbs
From Pearson the run is short: north on Highway 427 or along Airport Road and Dixon to Highway 27, then onto the Woodbine property, usually 10–15 minutes. From downtown the chauffeur takes the Gardiner west to the 427 and north, or the 401 west to the 427, 30–40 minutes off-peak and closer to an hour on weekday evenings.
From Mississauga, Brampton and Vaughan the casino is just as convenient; Highway 407 and Highway 27 connect it to the northern suburbs. On race days and big theatre nights, Rexdale Boulevard and the property roads fill at show time and at the end of the performance, and the chauffeur will suggest a meeting point away from the main doors to save waiting in the line of cars.
Casino Rama Resort near Orillia
Casino Rama Resort is operated by Gateway Casinos & Entertainment at 5899 Rama Road, on Rama First Nation land east of Orillia. Its own site describes a 24-hour casino floor, a hotel, dining, a spa and an entertainment centre that books concerts and touring acts. Entry is 19 and over with valid government-issued photo ID.
The resort also advertises its own VIP coach and charter bus programs; their schedules and conditions are theirs to publish, so check directly if a shared coach suits you. A private car makes sense when you want to leave on your own timetable, travel with a small group, combine the trip with a show or overnight stay, or be collected from Pearson rather than a fixed coach stop.
The drive north to Rama
From downtown the chauffeur takes the Don Valley Parkway or Allen Road to the 401, then Highway 400 north past Vaughan and Barrie, and Highway 11 towards Orillia, leaving for Highway 12 and Rama Road. It is about 150 km, roughly 1 h 30 min to 1 h 50 min on a quiet evening from downtown and a similar time from Pearson via the 427 and 409 to the 400.
The slow windows are Friday afternoons northbound, when cottage traffic heads up the 400, and Sunday afternoons southbound. Summer long weekends can add an hour in each direction. Winter brings lake-effect snow belts north of Barrie; the chauffeur checks Ontario 511 and Environment Canada before dispatch and will call you if conditions suggest leaving earlier.
Planning fares for casino trips
Planning figures, business sedan unless noted, all-in plus HST. The reservation engine quotes the exact trip.
| Trip | Business sedan | Executive SUV / luxury van | Sprinter (up to 14) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pearson to Woodbine resort, one way | $90–120 | about 25–30 per cent more | about 2.2 times the sedan fare |
| Downtown evening at Woodbine, 5 hours | $650–750 | $800–950 | $1,125–1,350 |
| Downtown to Casino Rama, one way | quoted by the engine | quoted by the engine | quoted by the engine |
| Rama show night, 8–9 hours | $1,040–1,350 | $1,280–1,710 | $1,800–2,430 |
The Woodbine figure matches the Etobicoke band on our rates page. A one-way Rama transfer is priced on distance and sits a little above our Barrie band ($265–315 from Pearson); the engine gives the exact figure for your address.
How an evening at Woodbine usually runs
A typical booking starts with a 6 p.m. pickup downtown, dinner at the resort, a show or time on the floor, and a pickup around 11 p.m. or midnight: a five- or six-hour hourly booking. The chauffeur parks nearby rather than circling, and you text 10–15 minutes before you want to leave so the car is at the door when you walk out.
If the evening stretches, the booking extends at the same hourly rate; nobody has to hunt for a rideshare at 2 a.m. For a guest who only needs to be dropped and collected much later, two one-way transfers can be cheaper than keeping the car for six hours; the chauffeur or dispatch will say which works out better for your plans.
A Rama show night or overnight
For Casino Rama, most guests either book the car for the whole evening or book two transfers with a hotel night in between. A show night might leave Toronto at 4 p.m., arrive for dinner at 6, catch an 8 p.m. performance and have the car at the doors by 10:30 for the drive home, arriving back after midnight. That is an eight- to nine-hour hourly booking.
With an overnight stay, book a one-way transfer each way instead: the chauffeur drops you at the hotel entrance with the bags and collects you at checkout the next day. That is usually better value than paying for the car to wait overnight, and it lets you enjoy the resort without watching the clock.

Group nights out: birthdays, bachelor parties and staff events
Casino nights are a popular group plan. Up to six guests fit an executive SUV or luxury van, and up to fourteen travel in a Sprinter, which we operate ourselves; see Sprinter van group transportation. Larger groups and themed nights in a party bus or stretch limousine are arranged through vetted partner operators and priced in writing by a coordinator.
For bachelor and bachelorette parties, remember that every guest must be 19 or over and carry ID to get past the casino door. A group that includes someone under 19 should plan the dinner and show elsewhere. Corporate groups sometimes combine a Woodbine race afternoon with dinner; our client entertainment page covers those.
Arriving at Pearson and going straight to Woodbine
Because the Woodbine resort is so close to the airport, it is a natural first stop for visitors who land in the late afternoon and have booked the on-site hotel. The chauffeur tracks your flight and meets you at the pre-arranged commercial pickup area, with 60 minutes of waiting included on international arrivals and 30 minutes on Canadian and US. With the meet and greet add-on (planning figure $25–35), the chauffeur waits in the arrivals hall instead.
Returning guests heading to an early flight have an equally short trip: 10–15 minutes from the hotel entrance to Terminal 1 or Terminal 3. Use our terminal finder to confirm which terminal your airline uses.
Responsible play and the rules at the door
Both resorts operate under Ontario's gaming regulator, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, and both run responsible gambling programs; their sites explain the self-exclusion and support options. From our side the rules are simple: the chauffeur will not carry open alcohol in the cabin, will not leave a guest who seems unwell alone at the curb, and will stop at any time on the way home if someone needs air.
A fixed fare or pre-agreed hourly booking also removes one late-night temptation: no one needs to decide at 2 a.m. whether they are fit to drive.
What to bring and how to plan the pickup
Bring the photo ID the casino asks for; a second piece of ID is sensible, since the Woodbine resort mentions a secondary ID on its site. Dress codes are generally relaxed, but theatre nights and the finer restaurants lean smart-casual, and a light jacket helps on the walk from the car in January. Leave large bags in the trunk; the chauffeur keeps them locked in the car.
Agree a pickup routine before you go in. Most guests text the chauffeur 10–15 minutes before they want to leave, and for Rama, where the drive home is long, we suggest deciding the leave-by time before dinner so nobody is negotiating it at the tables. Share the chauffeur's number with everyone in the group, so whoever is ready first can coordinate the car.
Other casino options from Toronto
Toronto visitors have other choices within a car ride. Great Canadian also runs Pickering Casino Resort, east of the city in Durham Region, reachable along the 401 in about 40 minutes from downtown; see our Pickering and Ajax page. The Niagara Falls casinos sit at the end of the QEW, a trip that pairs well with the Falls themselves; our Niagara Falls attraction guide covers that drive.
Whichever you choose, the booking works the same way: point-to-point for a drop and pickup, hourly if you want the car on standby.
Booking and cancellation
Book the pickup address, the date, the vehicle and either the one-way destination or the number of hours in the reservation engine. If a show runs late, the chauffeur waits and the booking extends at the same hourly rate. Cancellation follows the sitewide rule: no charge more than 72 hours before pickup, 10 per cent at 72 hours or less, 50 per cent at 48 hours or less, and the full fare at 24 hours or less or on a no-show.
Big concert nights and New Year's Eve book up early; secure the car as soon as you have tickets.
