An Etobicoke to Pearson airport limo or car service with TorontoAirportTransfer.services is a private chauffeured car booked ahead at a fixed all-in fare. The planning figure is $90–120 one way in a business sedan before HST, with chauffeur, fuel, airport fees and gratuity included. Most of Etobicoke is 15–25 minutes from the terminals via Highway 427.
Etobicoke to Pearson airport limo and car service
Etobicoke is Pearson's next-door neighbour. The airport's eastern boundary runs along the edge of the former borough, the Dixon Road hotel strip is within Etobicoke, and Highway 427 carries you from the lake to the terminals in one straight line. That proximity makes Etobicoke airport runs quick, but it also makes them easy to underestimate: the 427 near the 401 and Dixon Road interchanges is one of the busiest pieces of highway in the country at rush hour. Booking a fixed-fare Pearson airport limo or black sedan means the price is agreed before you travel. The fare shown in the reservation engine includes the chauffeur, the vehicle, fuel, airport fees and gratuity, and the 407 toll on the rare occasion the chauffeur uses it; HST is shown separately. Traffic, detours and snow never change it.
Etobicoke to Pearson fares by vehicle
Planning figures for one way between an Etobicoke address and Pearson, all-in before HST. Your own figure depends on the precise address, travel date and vehicle you enter.
| Vehicle class | Seats / bags | Etobicoke ↔ Pearson (planning) | Common Etobicoke use |
|---|---|---|---|
| Business sedan | 3 / 3 | $90–120 | Early flights from the Kingsway, Islington, Humber Bay |
| First-class sedan | 3 / 3 | $135–180 | Executives, client arrivals at the Dixon Road hotels |
| Executive SUV or luxury van | 6 / 6 | $115–160 | Families from Markland Wood, Alderwood, Richview |
| Executive Sprinter | 14 / 14 | $195–265 | Crews, conference groups, sports teams |
Etobicoke is also where many hourly bookings begin, because a conference at the airport convention centres or a day at Woodbine is close to home. Hourly service is planned at $130–150 an hour in a sedan and $160–190 in an SUV, three hours minimum. Compare classes on the rates page or price any address with the fare calculator.
Roads from Etobicoke to the terminals
Highway 427 is the spine. From Humber Bay Shores, Mimico, New Toronto and Long Branch, the chauffeur joins the 427 near the Gardiner and QEW junction and runs north to the airport exits. From the Kingsway, Islington Village and Etobicoke City Centre, Bloor Street or Dundas Street leads west to the 427. From Richview, Eringate and Markland Wood it is Eglinton Avenue or Rathburn Road to the 427, or the airport's Airport Road and Dixon Road entrances when the highway is congested. From Rexdale, Humberwood and Thistletown in the north, Highway 27 and Dixon Road reach the terminals without touching the 427 at all. Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 have separate approach roads, so tell us your terminal or flight number at booking. Closures appear on Ontario 511, and highway background is on the Highway 427 overview.
Etobicoke drive times by time of day
Planning figures for a weekday from the Kingsway area to the terminal curb:
- Before 6 am and after 9 pm: 12–18 minutes.
- 6:00–7:00 am: 15–22 minutes.
- 7:00–10:00 am: 22–35 minutes, as the northbound 427 fills with commuters to the airport employment area.
- 10:00 am–3:00 pm: 18–25 minutes.
- 3:00–7:00 pm: 25–40 minutes; the 427 and Dixon Road interchanges are the bottleneck.
- Weekends: 15–25 minutes.
Rexdale and Humberwood addresses are often faster still via Highway 27; Long Branch and Alderwood add five minutes. Snow adds 15–20 minutes, mostly on ramps.

Etobicoke neighbourhoods we serve
Every Etobicoke address is a regular pickup for our chauffeurs:
- Humber Bay Shores and Mimico: the lakefront condo towers, with shared driveways and busy concierge desks.
- New Toronto, Long Branch and Alderwood: the southwest along Lake Shore Boulevard and Brown's Line.
- The Queensway, Stonegate and Sunnylea: close to Sherway Gardens and the 427.
- The Kingsway, Humber Valley Village and Princess-Rosethorn: detached homes on winding streets between the Humber River and Islington.
- Islington Village and Etobicoke City Centre: the condos and offices around Islington, Kipling and Dundas.
- Markland Wood, Eringate, West Deane Park and Richview: family neighbourhoods in central Etobicoke.
- Kingsview Village, Willowridge and Humber Heights: along the Humber and Dixon Road.
- Rexdale, Thistletown, Smithfield and Humberwood: the north end, closest to Woodbine and Highway 27.
Dixon Road hotels, airport business and conventions
The Dixon Road hotel strip on Pearson's eastern edge is technically Etobicoke, and it is one of the busiest pickup zones we serve. Travellers overnighting before an early flight, airline crews on layover, and delegates at the Toronto Congress Centre, a short drive along Dixon Road, all need short, punctual rides with luggage. We run hotel-to-terminal transfers, hotel-to-downtown trips and full conference days with a Sprinter shuttling between hotels and halls. For corporate groups, see conventions and trade shows and employee and crew shuttles. The Toronto Congress Centre publishes its event calendar, which we check when several groups land for the same show.

Woodbine, Sherway Gardens and Etobicoke landmarks
Etobicoke has destinations that bring visitors in as well as sending residents out. Woodbine Racetrack and the Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto beside it host racing, dining and concerts in Rexdale, and an evening there suits an hourly booking; see casinos: Woodbine and Rama and the resort's own site, greatcanadian.com. Sherway Gardens is the southern shopping stop, next to the 427 and QEW. Humber Bay Park and Colonel Samuel Smith Park give the lakefront its walking trails and skyline views. Humber College's North and Lakeshore campuses bring international students through Pearson each autumn and winter. The Old Mill by the Humber River, Montgomery's Inn and James Gardens are well-known settings for weddings and photographs.
When to leave Etobicoke for your flight
Being close to the airport tempts people to leave late. The drive is short, but the airport processes still take the same time: airlines generally want you at the terminal about two hours before a domestic flight and three hours before a US or international one, and US-bound travellers clear US preclearance before boarding. From Etobicoke a practical rule is:
- Flights before 9 am: leave 2 hours 30 minutes before Canadian and US, 3 hours 15 before international or US.
- Midday flights: 2 hours 20 before domestic, 3 hours 10 before international.
- Flights between 5 and 9 pm: 2 hours 45 before Canadian and US, 3 hours 30 before international.
The reservation engine proposes a pickup time from your flight number, and our how early to arrive at Pearson guide explains the terminal processes behind those numbers.
The return pickup at Pearson
Book your return with the flight number. We track the flight and time the chauffeur to the real landing, with free waiting from touchdown: 60 minutes for international arrivals and 30 minutes for Canadian and US ones, then 15-minute blocks. The fare covers curbside pickup at the terminal's pre-arranged commercial pickup area, and you receive a message with the chauffeur's position when you land. If you would rather be met inside the arrivals hall with a name board, add meet and greet at Pearson at booking, planned at $25–35. For Etobicoke residents the whole return often takes less time than the wait at the baggage carousel, which is why a flight-tracked car rather than a pre-set time matters. Check your terminal with the terminal finder.
Transit and taxi alternatives, honestly
Etobicoke has the best transit link to Pearson in the city. The TTC's 900 Airport Express bus runs from Kipling station, at the west end of Line 2, straight to the terminals, and overnight routes serve the airport too; the details are on the TTC's airport page. For a solo traveller with a carry-on who lives near the subway, that is the cheapest option by far. A short Pearson taxi or rideshare also works for a light traveller. Where a pre-booked car makes more sense: early flights before the buses get going, families with car seats (Ontario requires them in private vehicles and limousines, not in taxis), anyone with more than two bags, and returns from long flights when you want someone already waiting. Our flat-rate taxi alternative page compares them.
Families, car seats and accessibility
Families in Markland Wood, Alderwood or the Kingsway often need an SUV or van: six seats, six bags, and room for a stroller. Child seats (infant, convertible and booster) are available on request and installed before pickup; add them when you book. Whatever the exemptions for taxis and buses, we fit the right child seat for every child who needs one. The province explains which seat fits which child on its car seat guidance page, and our child car seat transfers page covers how we handle it. Travellers who use a wheelchair or walker can book assistance or an accessible vehicle through wheelchair accessible transfers.
Weddings, proms and celebrations in Etobicoke
Etobicoke's venues see steady limousine traffic on weekends: ceremonies and receptions at the Old Mill and in the banquet halls near the airport, photographs in James Gardens and along Humber Bay, and proms at hotel ballrooms on Dixon Road. We plan the couple's car, family SUVs and a Sprinter for guests, with timing built around the photographer's schedule. Our own fleet covers sedans, SUVs, vans and Sprinters; stretch limousines, Rolls-Royce cars and party buses are provided by vetted partner operators in the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network, which we tell you at booking. For weddings, party buses or several cars, a coordinator sends a written price. See wedding limo service and prom and graduation limos.
Billy Bishop, Union Station and downtown from Etobicoke
Etobicoke is also well placed for the other airport. The Gardiner runs east from the 427 to Bathurst Street, and the mainland terminal of Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport on Eireann Quay is 20–35 minutes from most of south Etobicoke outside rush hour. The fixed fare for a Billy Bishop transfer from Etobicoke depends only on your address. For VIA Rail and GO trains, we collect at Union Station. And when a visitor lands at Pearson and is staying in Etobicoke but wants a day downtown, an hourly booking covers the Pearson pickup, the hotel drop and an afternoon of sightseeing without juggling several rides.
Booking, changes and cancellation
Book on any page or at the booking page: pickup address or hotel, flight number, passengers, bags and vehicle. The fixed fare appears before you confirm. Moving the time, changing the address or switching vehicles costs nothing as long as the class is free. Cancellation is measured from the scheduled pickup: free more than 72 hours ahead; 72 hours or less is 10 %; 48 hours or less is 50 %; 24 hours or less, or a no-show, is 100 %. If the airline cancels your inbound flight, the pickup moves to the replacement flight. Pearson's terminal information is on torontopearson.com.
