Limousine service in Mississauga to Pearson is the shortest airport run in the GTA: most addresses are 15–25 minutes from the terminals, and a pre-booked sedan is a planning figure of $90–120 all-in plus HST. Because the drive is short, the risks are different: leaving too late, the terminal curb at peak hours and the wrong terminal. Plan the pickup time around the airport, not the road.
Limousine service Mississauga: why a short run needs a plan
Toronto Pearson is inside Mississauga's northeast corner, so a trip from Port Credit, Meadowvale or the City Centre is shorter than almost any run from Toronto itself. That makes people relaxed about it, and relaxed is how flights get missed. The drive is rarely the problem; the queue at the departures curb, a security line or a terminal mix-up is. Our Mississauga airport limo page lists fares by vehicle and the neighbourhoods we cover. This post is the planning companion: five real trips timed by our dispatch desk, the mistakes that catch Mississauga travellers, and an honest look at when a taxi or MiWay bus is all you need.
How short is the drive, really?
From most Mississauga neighbourhoods, the terminals are 12 to 25 kilometres away. Malton and the Airport Corporate Centre are closest, often under 10 minutes to Terminal 1 outside rush hour. Square One and Cooksville are typically 15–20 minutes via Highway 403 and the 401, or by surface roads such as Eglinton Avenue when the highways are jammed. Port Credit, Lorne Park and Clarkson use the QEW and Highway 427, about 20–25 minutes. Meadowvale, Churchill Meadows and Streetsville use Highway 401 and take 15–25 minutes. Weekday rush hour, roughly 7–9:30 a.m. and 4–7 p.m., can double any of these, especially on the 401 around the 403 and 410 interchange. Snow does the same. The City of Mississauga posts road work that can close ramps overnight.

Why the pickup time is set by the airport, not the road
With a 20-minute drive, it is tempting to book a pickup 90 minutes before a domestic flight. Work backwards instead. Air Canada and many carriers close bag drop well before departure, and US-bound flights clear US preclearance at Pearson before boarding, which adds a queue of its own. Our guide on how early to arrive at Pearson sets the terminal arrival target. Then add the drive, a curb allowance of 5–10 minutes at peak and the time it takes a family to load. For the Port Credit traveller above, that means a 4:55 a.m. pickup for a 7:05 a.m. flight: the drive is only 20 minutes, but the goal is to be in the check-in hall two hours before departure.
Terminal 1 or Terminal 3: the Mississauga mistake
Because Mississauga drivers pass the airport daily, many assume they know which terminal an airline uses, and a surprising number of wrong-terminal drop-offs start from here. Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 are on opposite sides of the airport, and while the free Terminal Link train connects them, a wrong drop at 6 a.m. can cost 15 minutes you did not plan for. Check the airline and flight number, not the brand on the ticket, because codeshares sometimes operate from the partner's terminal. Our terminal finder takes the flight number, and the Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 pages show the departures curb layout.

Is a limo worth it for a 15-minute drive?
Sometimes it is not, and we would rather say so. If you are one person with a carry-on, leaving mid-morning from near a direct bus route, a MiWay bus is the cheapest way to the terminals. MiWay runs routes that serve the airport; check the trip planner for your stop. A taxi or rideshare is also a reasonable choice at midday for a light traveller. A pre-booked car earns its fare when the timing is tight, the luggage is heavy, children need seats, someone has limited mobility, or you land late and want a car waiting. It also makes sense for a business traveller who needs an invoice and a known arrival time, which is why so many Airport Corporate Centre bookings are standing orders.
The Meadowvale family of five, step by step
- The night before, dispatch confirms the flight, five passengers, five suitcases, two carry-ons and a stroller. That load rules out a sedan and a standard SUV with a stroller, so a luxury van is assigned.
- Two booster seats are added at booking and fitted before the chauffeur leaves the garage.
- At 6:30 a.m. the van is outside; loading takes about 10 minutes with children.
- The route is Highway 401 east to the airport exits and the Terminal 3 departures ramp, about 20 minutes on a Saturday morning.
- At the curb, the chauffeur unloads, folds the stroller back out and the family walks straight to check-in.
The fare was fixed at booking, and the gratuity was already included.
The Airport Corporate Centre same-day return
The office parks around Eglinton Avenue and Highway 427 generate some of the most time-sensitive runs in the GTA. A consultant finishes a meeting at 3:30 p.m., flies to New York at 6:10 p.m., and returns on the last flight the same night. The drive to Terminal 1 is under 15 minutes, but US preclearance at the end of the afternoon can be long, so the car leaves at 3:45 p.m. On the way home, the chauffeur tracks the return flight; a flight from New York passes through Canadian customs at Pearson, and the included waiting is 30 minutes from landing, with extra time billed in 15-minute blocks. A first-class sedan gives a quiet cabin for a call. Many firms keep a corporate account so every trip lands on one invoice.
Hotels near the airport: the short hop that still needs booking
Travellers staying at airport-area hotels on the Mississauga side often plan to walk or take the hotel shuttle, and many hotel shuttles run on fixed schedules. That works until the shuttle is full at 5 a.m., or the family has too much luggage for the hotel van. A pre-booked car from an airport hotel is short and inexpensive, and it is the easiest way to make a sunrise flight after an overnight stay. It is also useful the other way: after a long-haul arrival, a car can take you to a Square One or Port Credit hotel and hold your bags if the room is not yet ready. Our comparison of airport-hotel shuttles and private transfers looks at the trade-offs.
Coming home: why the return is harder than the drive out
Leaving Mississauga is simple. Coming back is where short trips turn into long evenings. Taxi stand lines at the terminals can be long when several wide-body flights land together, and rideshare pickups at the designated zones slow when the curb is busy. A pre-booked chauffeur tracks the flight and times the pickup to the actual landing, with 60 minutes of included waiting on international arrivals and 30 on Canadian and US. If you want someone inside the arrivals hall with a name board, add meet and greet at booking; otherwise the chauffeur meets you at the terminal's pre-arranged commercial pickup area. Either way, you are home in Streetsville or Clarkson about 20 minutes after the car pulls away.
An accessible trip from Streetsville
For a passenger who uses a wheelchair, the short distance is a gift, but the details still matter. Tell us at booking whether the chair folds and whether the passenger can transfer to a car seat. A folding chair and a passenger who can transfer usually suit an SUV or van with a low step height. A passenger who must stay in the chair needs a ramp- or lift-equipped vehicle, arranged through our wheelchair accessible transfers service. At the terminal, airline assistance can meet the passenger at the curb if requested in advance through the airline, so the chauffeur's handover is timed to that arrangement. Allow an extra 15 minutes for loading at each end.
Short run, big group: the Sprinter from Square One
Sports teams, choirs and wedding parties staying around Square One often need one vehicle for 10 to 14 people and their bags. A chauffeured Sprinter carries 14 passengers and 14 bags, and on a short run like this it often costs less per head than three separate cars. The coordinator's job is headcount and luggage, not route: sports bags and equipment cases take more room than suitcases, so tell us what you are carrying. For groups above 14, or with bulky equipment, see our Sprinter group transportation page for the larger options. Arrive at the terminal early; unloading 14 bags at a busy curb takes time.

Mistakes Mississauga travellers make
- Booking the pickup for 60 minutes before a domestic flight because "the airport is right there".
- Heading to the terminal your airline used last year without checking the flight.
- Assuming a rideshare will be quick at 5 a.m. near the airport; drivers often cluster downtown.
- Not mentioning a stroller, golf bag or wheelchair until the car arrives.
- Forgetting the return leg until landing, then joining a long taxi queue.
- Choosing a stretch limousine for a 15-minute airport run; it is a partner vehicle with a four-hour minimum and makes sense for a wedding, not a flight.
Combining the airport drop with other stops
Because the airport run is short, some travellers fold it into a longer booking. A family might visit a relative in Malton, then continue to Terminal 3. An executive might need a stop at an office on Matheson Boulevard before the flight. Each extra stop is added at booking, with waiting time at 15 minutes included for point-to-point pickups. If the day becomes a series of meetings ending at the airport, our hourly chauffeur service is simpler: sedan planning rates are $130–150 an hour with a three-hour minimum, and the chauffeur stays with you until the terminal.
How to book the short run
Enter the pickup address, flight number and passengers in the reservation engine; the fixed fare appears before you confirm. Our fare calculator is useful for a first estimate across vehicles. You get a confirmation, then the chauffeur's details before pickup. For Pearson's own information on terminals and ground transport, see the Toronto Pearson website. Cancellation follows our standard rule: free more than 72 hours before pickup, 10 % at 72 hours or less, 50 % at 48 hours or less, and 100 % at 24 hours or less or on a no-show.
