The 2027 Canadian International AutoShow runs February 12 to 21 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, with a media day on February 11. Chauffeurs drop at the North Building, 255 Front Street West, or the South Building, 222 Bremner Boulevard. From Pearson the planning fare is $130–160 in a business sedan, all-in plus HST; hourly service is $130–150 per hour.
Canadian International AutoShow transportation at a glance
The AutoShow is the country's biggest consumer car show and one of the busiest ten-day stretches on the downtown convention calendar. It is not held at Exhibition Place: the official AutoShow site lists the 2027 show at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (MTCC) from February 12 to 21, 2027, with media day on February 11. That puts it in the core, next to Union Station, the CN Tower and Rogers Centre.
TorontoAirportTransfer.services handles Canadian International AutoShow transportation for three kinds of passenger: families and enthusiasts coming from the suburbs, exhibitors and manufacturer staff flying in for the setup and the run of show, and dealers or corporate hosts moving guests between hotels, dinners and the floor. Every ride is a fixed fare shown in the reservation engine before you confirm.
Which MTCC building, and why it matters
The MTCC has two buildings joined by an underground walkway. The North Building sits at 255 Front Street West, opposite the Fairmont Royal York side of Front Street and the Union Station approach. The South Building is at 222 Bremner Boulevard, south of the rail corridor, beside Rogers Centre and a short walk from the CN Tower. The AutoShow has used both buildings.
Tell us which building your entrance, exhibit or meeting is in. Dropping at the wrong one costs you a ten-minute walk through the connecting concourse in a crowd. For visitors it rarely matters much; for exhibitors hauling cases, presenters with a timed slot or guests in formal wear heading to an evening function, it matters a great deal. The MTCC site has the building maps and loading information.

Where the car drops you off
For the North Building, chauffeurs pull in along Front Street West at the main doors. Front Street is busy all day, with taxis, hotel traffic and Union Station pickups competing for the curb, so the drop is quick: bags out, doors closed, car moving. For the South Building, the drop is on Bremner Boulevard at the MTCC South entrance, which is calmer on a weekday but gets crowded on nights when a Raptors or Leafs game at Scotiabank Arena or an event at Rogers Centre lets out nearby.
For the return, pick one building and one door. On an hourly booking the chauffeur stages close by and brings the car up when you text. On a point-to-point return, 15 minutes of waiting is included and extra time is billed in 15-minute blocks.

Hourly versus point-to-point for a show day
A family day at the AutoShow is simple: book a ride in, book a ride out at a set time, and let the kids climb in every SUV on the floor. Point-to-point is the cheaper option when you know your timings.
Exhibitors, dealer principals, fleet buyers and anyone hosting clients usually book hourly. A typical pattern is a morning hotel pickup, the show floor, a lunch meeting in the Financial District, back to the MTCC, and dinner in King West. The car and chauffeur stay with you, which avoids the queue for taxis on Front Street at 6 pm. Our corporate car service sets up monthly billing and passenger profiles if several colleagues will use the account.
Exhibitors, manufacturers and media day
Media day, February 11, 2027, is when manufacturer executives, product specialists and journalists are on the floor before the public opens. Many fly in from Detroit, New York, Tokyo, Seoul or Stuttgart the day before. Every Pearson pickup is flight-tracked, with 60 minutes of included waiting on international arrivals and 30 minutes on Canadian and US, counted from the actual landing. Meet and greet in the arrivals hall with a name board is an optional add-on, planning figure $25–35.
For media teams with camera cases, an executive SUV or a luxury van gives six seats and six bags. For show staff shuttling between a hotel and the MTCC each morning, a Sprinter on a repeating schedule is often cheaper than a string of sedans; our page on conventions and trade shows covers setup-week logistics in more detail.
Arriving from Pearson on show week
From Pearson to the MTCC, our chauffeurs take Highway 427 south to the Gardiner and exit at York, Bay or Spadina depending on traffic, or run the 401 and Allen or Don Valley routes when the Gardiner is jammed. Allow 25 to 45 minutes outside rush hour and up to an hour and a quarter on a snowy Friday afternoon in February.
Check your terminal with our terminal finder before you travel. Our standard pickup is at the terminal's pre-arranged commercial pickup area; the chauffeur messages you with the door and bay when you land. The Pearson airport limo page walks through the pickup step by step.
February weather and the downtown core
The AutoShow falls in the coldest part of the Toronto winter. Snow, freezing rain and slush are all possible, and the convention-centre curbs get icy. Being dropped at the door is not a luxury on those days. Check Environment Canada before you set out and dress for the walk between the car and the building, however short.
Our chauffeurs run winter tires all season and plan extra time on show weekends, when snow and full streets combine. The Family Day long weekend falls inside the 2027 show, with Family Day itself on Monday, February 15, and that holiday is traditionally one of the busiest days on the floor.

Transit, PATH and Union Station
The MTCC connects directly to Union Station, so the AutoShow is easy to reach by subway, GO Transit, UP Express and VIA Rail, and the show promotes that. From the station you follow the SkyWalk toward the South Building or head along Front Street to the North Building. If you are one person with no bags, transit is the obvious answer.
A private car makes sense when you are coming from a suburb poorly served by GO, carrying equipment, travelling with children in snowsuits or combining the show with dinner and a hotel. Many visitors take the train in and book our Union Station transfer home.
Families and car seats
School-age children love the AutoShow, and weekends and Family Day are busy with strollers and tired toddlers by mid-afternoon. We fit infant, convertible or booster seats on request; add them at booking and see our child car seat transfers page for details. We fit a proper seat for every child who needs one regardless of any vehicle-for-hire exemption.
A tip from the dispatch desk: book the ride home for an hour earlier than you think. The last hour on a crowded Saturday is when small children fade and the coat check queue lengthens.
Hosting clients and the evening schedule
Dealers, finance companies and suppliers use the AutoShow to entertain customers. A typical evening moves a small group from the floor to a steakhouse or a private room, then back to hotels. The show has traditionally hosted a charity preview evening before the public days; if you have an invitation, book early because every formal-wear-friendly car in the city is busy that night. Check the details on the AutoShow site rather than relying on last year's date.
For a group of up to six, an executive SUV keeps everyone together; for up to 14, a Sprinter. Stretch limousines and Rolls-Royce or Maybach cars come through vetted partner operators in our network, as our client entertainment page explains.
Booking lead time
For ordinary visits on weekdays, a few days' notice is fine. For media day, the charity evening, the first Saturday and Family Day weekend, book at least one to two weeks ahead, and earlier for Sprinters and first-class sedans. Exhibitors who need a car on call through setup, show and teardown should book as soon as their travel is confirmed; a coordinator will put a multi-vehicle schedule in writing.
Cancellation follows the sitewide rule: more than 72 hours before pickup, no charge; 72 hours or less, 10 %; 48 hours or less, 50 %; 24 hours or less or no-show, 100 %, measured from the scheduled pickup.
A sample show day from the dispatcher's log
8:15 am pickup at a Yorkville hotel for a manufacturer's product manager; drop at the North Building doors on Front Street at 8:40. Car parks nearby. 12:30 pm to a lunch on Bay Street, back at 2:00. 6:30 pm to King Street West for dinner with two dealers, who are dropped at their own hotels afterwards. Six and a half hours on the clock, one fare, no taxi queues.
The same pattern works for a family: 10 am from Vaughan, show until 2 pm, late lunch near the CN Tower, home by 5. That is a point-to-point pair plus a short hop, or a single hourly booking if the day is loose.
Test drives, feature exhibits and how long to allow
The AutoShow lists test drives and feature exhibits on its visitor pages, and both take time: test drives often need a sign-up, a licence check and a queue, while the feature halls draw crowds at midday. Enthusiasts easily spend five or six hours on the floor. Families with young children usually manage three.
That matters for your return booking. If you plan to try test drives, book the ride home later than you think or take an hourly block, so you are not watching the clock in a queue. If you have a train or flight afterwards, leave a clear margin; Front Street at 5 pm on a Friday in February is not a road to cut fine.
Other big weekends near the MTCC
The MTCC sits in the busiest events quarter of the city. Leafs and Raptors games at Scotiabank Arena, concerts and shows nearby, and conventions in the other halls all overlap with AutoShow dates. Our guides to sports games and the wider Toronto events calendar help you pick a return time that avoids the post-game rush on Bremner and Front.
