A National Bank Open car service drops you at the roundabout on Arboretum Lane, just northeast of Sobeys Stadium on the York University campus, the taxi and rideshare point the tournament itself recommends. From Pearson the planning fare is $105–135 in a business sedan, all-in plus HST; from downtown the reservation engine quotes the exact address. Toronto hosts the men's (ATP) event in 2027.
National Bank Open car service: what you are booking
The National Bank Open is Canada's biggest tennis tournament, and in Toronto it is played at Sobeys Stadium, 1 Shoreham Drive, on the York University campus in north-west Toronto. The event alternates with Montreal: one city hosts the men's ATP tournament and the other the women's WTA tournament, swapping each year. The official tournament site lists the 2027 edition as the men's event in Toronto, running July 31 to August 12, 2027. Always confirm the order of play and your session times there before you book.
A National Bank Open car service from TorontoAirportTransfer.services is a pre-booked chauffeured transfer with a fixed all-in fare shown in the reservation engine before you confirm: chauffeur, vehicle, fuel, 407 tolls if we use them, airport fees and gratuity, with HST on its own line. No meter runs while Highway 400 backs up, and nothing surges when a night session ends and a full stadium looks for a ride at once.
Exactly where the car drops you at Sobeys Stadium
The tournament's own getting to Sobeys Stadium page sends taxis and rideshare to the roundabout on Arboretum Lane, just northeast of the stadium. That is where our chauffeurs set passengers down and where we arrange pickups, unless campus security has set up a different staging area for that day, in which case the chauffeur texts you the exact spot before the match ends.
From the south we normally approach from Steeles Avenue or Keele Street, depending on which is flowing. From Highway 400 the usual approach is Steeles Avenue eastbound. On the first weekend and the finals, when qualifying crowds and ticket-holders arrive together, allow ten extra minutes for the last kilometre across campus. Ticket-holders with a parking pass use the numbered lots; a chauffeured drop avoids the lot walk altogether.
Planning fares to Sobeys Stadium
York University sits in the North York fare band, which is one of the shortest runs from Pearson. The figures below are planning figures; the reservation engine quotes the exact address, date and vehicle.
| From | Business sedan (one way) | Executive SUV / luxury van | Sprinter (up to 14) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pearson (YYZ), T1 or T3 | $105–135 | about +25–30 % | about 2.2 times the sedan |
| Downtown hotel (Front St, King West, Yorkville) | engine quotes, typically 35–55 min | engine quotes | engine quotes |
| Vaughan or Richmond Hill | short hop, engine quotes | engine quotes | engine quotes |
| Mississauga or Oakville | engine quotes | engine quotes | engine quotes |
| Hourly, drop and wait | $130–150/h, 3 h min | $160–190/h | $225–270/h |
A first-class sedan (S-Class or 7 Series) is roughly 50 % above the business sedan figure. Compare the classes on the fleet page or see the full rates page.
Point-to-point or hourly on a tournament day?
For a single day session, two one-way transfers are almost always cheaper than holding a car. You book the drop for the time you want to be through the gates and a separate return for about 30 minutes after the scheduled end of your last match, then adjust it by text if the match runs long. Point-to-point pickups include 15 minutes of waiting, then 15-minute blocks.
An hourly chauffeur makes more sense when you are doing more than the tennis: a lunch meeting in Vaughan, the matches, then dinner in Yorkville, or when you are hosting clients who may leave at unpredictable times. At a three-hour minimum, a long day session plus both drives often runs five or six hours.

Night sessions and the problem of getting home
The night session is where a pre-booked car earns its fare. Matches finish when they finish, sometimes after 11 p.m., and the tournament notes that the TTC Free Ride Home that used to operate is no longer available. The nearest subway, Pioneer Village on Line 1, is about eight minutes' walk, which is fine for many fans, but it means a subway ride south and often a transfer for anyone staying in Mississauga, Markham or out by the airport.
Our dispatch watches the live scores. When the last match on your court enters its final set, the chauffeur moves to the Arboretum Lane roundabout and sends you the plate number and position. If the match goes to a third-set tiebreak, the car waits; you are not charged for the delay beyond the included waiting and 15-minute blocks, and there is no surge multiplier.
Flying in for the tournament: Pearson to York University
Pearson to Sobeys Stadium is one of the easiest airport runs in the city. Depending on traffic we take Highway 427 north to Highway 401 east or Highway 400 north, then Steeles Avenue, or on a quiet evening Finch Avenue. Outside rush hour it is 25–35 minutes; during the weekday afternoon peak on the 401 allow 45 or more.
Every airport pickup is flight-tracked, so the chauffeur is timed to your actual landing. The fare includes curbside pickup at the pre-arranged commercial pickup area at T1 or T3, with 60 minutes of included waiting on international arrivals and 30 on Canadian and US. If you would rather be met inside the arrivals hall with a name board, add meet and greet at booking. Not sure which terminal your airline uses? Check the terminal finder.
Players' families, media and corporate hospitality
During tournament fortnight we get three kinds of booking beyond ordinary fans: families of players and coaches who need the same car for several days, broadcast and media crews moving between hotel and stadium with equipment, and companies hosting clients in hospitality suites.
For multi-day use we set up a standing booking: one chauffeur, fixed times, and a direct line to dispatch for changes. Media crews usually take a luxury van or Sprinter for kit. Corporate hosts often book one executive SUV per group of four or five guests rather than one large vehicle, so guests who want to leave after the first match can go without breaking up the party. We are not the tournament's official transport provider; we are a private car service you book directly.
Groups: tennis clubs, school trips and teams
Ontario tennis clubs regularly bring members for a day of qualifying or early rounds, when grounds passes let you wander between practice courts. A 14-seat Sprinter from a club in Oakville, Burlington or Newmarket splits one fare across the whole club rather than a car and a parking pass each, and nobody has to drive home after a long day in the sun.
For 20 or more, a coach can be arranged through vetted partner operators in the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network and priced in writing by a coordinator. Tell us the club's address, headcount, session times and whether anyone uses a wheelchair; campus drop areas can take a coach at the roundabout outside peak arrival times, and the coordinator confirms the staging point with you in advance.
Heat, rain delays and packing for the day
The tournament is played in late July and August, when Toronto afternoons regularly reach the high twenties or low thirties Celsius with humidity. Leave the heavy bag in the car: if you book hourly, water, a change of shirt and anything you do not want to carry through security can stay with the chauffeur.
Rain stops play on outdoor courts. When a delay is announced we do not move your pickup until you tell us to; send a message to dispatch with the new expected finish and we reset the return. If play is washed out entirely and you cancel a return with more than 72 hours' notice there is no charge, but on the day the sitewide cancellation scale applies, so keep us posted rather than simply not showing up.
Accessibility at Sobeys Stadium
Guests with limited mobility are better served by a direct drop at the roundabout than by a walk from a remote parking lot or the subway. If the passenger stays seated in their wheelchair, book our wheelchair-accessible transfer so the right ramp or lift vehicle is assigned; if they can transfer to a seat, a sedan or SUV with room for a folding chair is usually enough.
Tell us at booking which gate your seats are closest to and we will tell you the shortest route from the drop point. For guests who need to leave early, an hourly booking means the car is already on campus and can be at the roundabout within minutes rather than making its way back up from downtown.

Staying downtown versus near the stadium
Most visitors stay downtown and travel up for sessions; the drive from a Front Street or King West hotel is typically 35–55 minutes depending on the Don Valley Parkway, the Allen Road or Highway 400 traffic. Some prefer hotels near Highway 400 and Steeles in Vaughan, or in North York, to cut the commute, especially if they plan to attend both day and night sessions.
Whichever you choose, book both legs when you book the tickets. The reservation engine holds the fixed fare for your date, and our booking desk can pair the car with hotel reservations if you are still planning the trip. If you land in Montreal instead for the women's event in a different year, our long-distance service covers that city too.
The women's years: what changes in Toronto
Because the tournament alternates, Toronto hosts the WTA women's event in the years it does not host the men's. The logistics at Sobeys Stadium are the same: same address, same Arboretum Lane drop, same Pioneer Village subway access. What changes is the crowd profile, the session schedule and the ticket demand for particular days, which the official site publishes each spring.
We never publish a draw or schedule ourselves. When you book, put your session in the notes (for example "Thursday night session, Court 1 and Centre Court") and dispatch will plan around the published order of play for that day rather than a guess.
Combining the tennis with the rest of your Toronto trip
Many tennis visitors fold in a day at the CN Tower, a Blue Jays game at Rogers Centre while the season is still running, or a day trip to Niagara Falls. August is also the month the Canadian National Exhibition opens at Exhibition Place. An hourly chauffeur or a string of one-way transfers handles all of it with one booking account.
See our guide to Blue Jays and other game-day transfers, the Niagara Falls tours from Toronto page, or book a black car service by the hour for a mixed business-and-tennis day.
Transit, traffic and roadworks around York University
If part of your group prefers the subway, the TTC Line 1 extension runs to Pioneer Village and Vaughan Metropolitan Centre, and both are easy meeting points if you want the chauffeur to collect the rest of the party afterwards. Summer is also construction season on Ontario highways: lane closures on the 401, 400 and 427 are posted on Ontario 511, and dispatch checks them before every tournament-day run so the chauffeur leaves early rather than late.
Flying in on the day of a match? Toronto Pearson publishes live arrivals, and our flight tracking uses the same data, so if your plane lands early the chauffeur is already there and if it is delayed the pickup moves with it at no extra charge within the included waiting.
