The 2026 Royal Agricultural Winter Fair runs November 6 to 15 in the Enercare Centre and Coca-Cola Coliseum at Exhibition Place, 100 Princes' Boulevard. A private car drops you on Princes' Boulevard beside the halls. From Pearson the planning fare is $130–160 in a business sedan, all-in plus HST; an hourly chauffeur runs $130–150 per hour with a 3-hour minimum.
Royal Agricultural Winter Fair transportation in one paragraph
The Royal, as most Torontonians call it, fills the west end of the waterfront with livestock trailers, school buses, horse vans and visitors for ten days every November. Getting there is not hard, but getting a whole family, a stroller and a bag of fudge back out at 8 pm on a Saturday is where people lose patience. TorontoAirportTransfer.services runs Royal Agricultural Winter Fair transportation as either a fixed point-to-point fare or an hourly chauffeur service where the car waits nearby. Both are priced in the reservation engine before you confirm, with the chauffeur, vehicle, fuel, any 407 tolls and gratuity included and HST shown on its own line. There is no meter running while Lake Shore Boulevard crawls and no surge when the Horse Show lets out.
2026 dates, hours and where the fair actually is
According to the fair's own visitor page, the 2026 Royal Agricultural Winter Fair takes place from November 6 to November 15 in the Coca-Cola Coliseum and the Enercare Centre at 100 Princes' Boulevard, Exhibition Place. Published hours are 9 am to 6 pm on Sundays and Mondays and 9 am to 8 pm from Tuesday to Saturday, with the evening Royal Horse Show sessions running later in the Coliseum arena. Always check the day's schedule before you book a return time, because evening competitions and special events move the finish line.
Exhibition Place is the large lakefront grounds between Strachan Avenue and Dufferin Street, south of the rail corridor and north of Lake Shore Boulevard West. The Exhibition Place site has the grounds map. We are a transportation company with no connection to the fair or the venue; we simply drive you to the door.

Where our chauffeurs drop you off
The address that goes into the reservation engine is 100 Princes' Boulevard, which is the Enercare Centre. Princes' Boulevard is the main east–west road running through the grounds from the Princes' Gates near Strachan Avenue. On fair days our chauffeurs usually enter from Lake Shore Boulevard West at the Princes' Gates, run west along Princes' Boulevard and set passengers down beside the Enercare Centre doors, which puts you steps from the main entrance and the Coliseum connection.
When event staff close lanes or reserve curb space for school buses and accessible vehicles, the chauffeur follows their direction and texts you the exact spot. For the return, agree a meeting point before you go in: the same curb you arrived at is the simplest. Guests with mobility needs should say so at booking so dispatch sends a vehicle with an easy step height, or a ramp vehicle through our wheelchair-accessible transfer service.
Planning fares to the Royal Winter Fair
These are planning figures, one way, all-in plus HST. The reservation engine quotes the exact address, date and vehicle.
| Starting point | Business sedan | Executive SUV (6) | Sprinter (14) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pearson (YYZ), T1 or T3 | $130–160 | about +25–30 % | about ×2.2 |
| Mississauga or Etobicoke | $90–120 | about +25–30 % | about ×2.2 |
| Oakville | $120–150 | about +25–30 % | about ×2.2 |
| Vaughan | $115–145 | about +25–30 % | about ×2.2 |
| Markham | $145–180 | about +25–30 % | about ×2.2 |
| Hourly chauffeur (3 h min) | $130–150/h | $160–190/h | $225–270/h |
Figures for suburbs are the Pearson bands for those cities and serve as a reasonable guide to a downtown-west destination; your quote will reflect the actual addresses. Full bands are on the rates page.
Point-to-point or hourly: which suits a day at the Royal
A point-to-point fare works when you know when you are leaving. You book the ride in, then a separate return at a set time, and the chauffeur arrives at the agreed curb. Our included wait on point-to-point pickups is 15 minutes; after that the time is billed in 15-minute blocks. That suits a morning with the kids or an afternoon in the barns with a fixed finish.
Hourly works better for evening Horse Show tickets, hospitality groups and anyone doing more than one stop. The car stays with you, parked or circling nearby, and you text when you are heading out. Three hours is the minimum, and it covers a ride in, a couple of hours inside and the ride out when you are coming from nearby. For a full day plus dinner downtown afterwards, book five or six hours and treat the chauffeur as your day's transport.
Families, strollers and car seats
The Royal is a family event, and school-age children are a big part of the crowd on weekdays. Every child who needs a seat gets one: infant, convertible or booster, on request, added at booking in the reservation engine. Ontario's rules exempt taxis and buses for hire from some seat requirements, but we fit a proper seat for each child regardless; Ontario's guide to choosing a child car seat explains the stages. Our child car seat transfers page covers installation and which vehicles take three seats across.
Folding strollers go in the trunk of a sedan; a double stroller plus a family of five is an executive SUV job. Tell dispatch about the stroller when you book so the right car arrives.
Evenings at the Royal Horse Show
The Royal Horse Show sessions draw a dressier crowd than the daytime barns, and many guests pair them with dinner. Evening traffic around Exhibition Place is lighter than a Blue Jays or concert night downtown, but Lake Shore Boulevard West and the Gardiner ramps at Jameson and Dunn still slow when a session ends and several thousand people leave at once.
Our advice from the dispatch desk: book the return for 20 to 30 minutes after the published end of the session, or book hourly and let the chauffeur stage close to the Enercare doors. A first-class sedan is the usual choice for couples; an executive SUV for four in evening wear with coats.
Exhibitors, breeders and trade visitors
The Royal is also a working show for farm families, 4-H members, breeders and suppliers. Many exhibitors arrive by truck and trailer and stay on the grounds or at hotels nearby, but their visiting family, buyers, judges and sponsors fly into Pearson. We regularly handle Pearson-to-Exhibition-Place runs timed to the actual landing, with 60 minutes of included waiting on international arrivals and 30 on Canadian and US, counted from touchdown.
For judges and officials who need to shuttle between a downtown hotel and the grounds each morning for several days, an hourly block or a set of pre-booked point-to-point legs on one reservation keeps things simple. A coordinator can put a multi-day schedule in writing if you need several vehicles.

School groups and hospitality groups
A class, a seniors' club or a company hospitality group is best moved in one vehicle so nobody gets lost between the Coliseum and the Enercare halls. Our own Sprinter van group transportation seats up to 14 with luggage-style storage for coats and bags. Larger groups of 24 to 56 go in a coach supplied through our vetted partner operators in the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network, which we say plainly because we do not own coaches.
Group pricing for coaches and multi-vehicle days is priced in writing by a coordinator. For a single Sprinter, the reservation engine shows the fixed fare straight away.
November weather and the drive
The fair sits right on the lake, and November in Toronto means wet snow, sleet or cold rain on some days and bright, chilly sunshine on others. Wind off Lake Ontario across the open grounds makes the walk from a far parking lot miserable, which is one of the better reasons to be dropped at the door. Check Environment Canada the morning you go.
Our chauffeurs switch to winter tires before the season and allow extra time on the Gardiner and the QEW when the first snow of the year arrives, which often falls during fair week. If you are catching a flight after the fair, book the airport leg with a generous buffer and see our guide on how early to arrive at Pearson.
Parking versus a private car
The fair lists its own parking: surface lots at $18, or $15 after 6 pm, and the Enercare Centre garage at the same rates with a $3 increase on peak days. That is fair value if you have one car and one driver who does not mind the drive. The trade-off is the walk from the outer lots, queues to exit after the evening sessions and one person in the group who cannot enjoy the beer-and-cider stands.
With a private car the cost is the fare, the time is door to door and nobody has to drive home tired on the 427 in the dark. For a family of four coming in from Mississauga or Vaughan, the difference between parking plus fuel and a fixed sedan fare is smaller than most people expect.
Transit alternatives, honestly
GO Transit runs the Lakeshore West line to Exhibition GO Station, right beside the grounds, and the fair itself promotes GO combo tickets. The TTC's 509 Harbourfront and 511 Bathurst streetcars reach Exhibition Place from Union Station and Bathurst subway. For a single traveller with nothing to carry, transit is the cheapest answer, and we say so.
A private car wins with small children, older relatives, mobility needs, heavy purchases from the vendor halls, bad weather or a tight connection to a flight or train. Plenty of guests take GO in and book a car out at night, which is a perfectly sensible split.
Combining the fair with a Toronto weekend
Out-of-town visitors often build a weekend around the Royal. Friday arrival at Pearson, Saturday at the fair and the Horse Show, Sunday at the St. Lawrence Market or the Hockey Hall of Fame before the flight home. Book each leg separately in the reservation engine or ask for one multi-stop itinerary.
Hotels near the grounds and along the western waterfront keep the transfers short; hotels around Union Station give you the widest choice of restaurants. Either way, a Pearson to downtown Toronto transfer is the first leg for most visitors.
Booking lead time for fair week
Fair week overlaps with ordinary November business travel, conventions and hockey, so weekday daytime cars are rarely scarce. The pinch points are Saturday evenings, the final weekend and any evening with a feature Horse Show session. Book those at least a week ahead, and two or three weeks ahead for Sprinters or coaches.
Cancellation follows our sitewide rule: more than 72 hours before pickup, no charge; 72 hours or less, 10 %; 48 hours or less, 50 %; 24 hours or less or a no-show, 100 %, measured from the scheduled pickup. If the forecast turns ugly, change your plans early rather than on the morning.
What the chauffeur does on the day
The chauffeur arrives at your pickup address a few minutes early, confirms the drop-off curb and return plan, and sets any car seats. At Exhibition Place they follow event traffic control, set you down as close to the Enercare doors as the marshals allow, and text the meeting point for the return.
On an hourly booking they then park within a few minutes of the doors and stay on the phone. When you message that you are heading out, they bring the car to the curb. Purchases go in the trunk, coats go on the hooks, and you are on the Gardiner before the parking-lot queues have moved.
Other November events near Exhibition Place
The grounds are rarely quiet in November. Toronto FC and Argonauts post-season games at BMO Field, consumer shows in the Enercare halls and conferences at the Beanfield Centre can overlap with the fair. When two events end at the same time, Lake Shore Boulevard and Strachan Avenue become the bottleneck and a pre-booked car with a staged return is worth more than usual.
