Limousine service in Durham Region covers pre-booked airport cars and event limos from Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa and Clarington. With TorontoAirportTransfer.services, a sedan to Pearson is planned at $180–220 from Pickering or Ajax and $220–265 from Whitby or Oshawa, one way all-in plus HST. Stretch limousines and party buses for events come from vetted partner operators.
Limousine service Durham: what you can book
Durham Region stretches along Lake Ontario from the Rouge River to beyond Newcastle, and the kind of limousine service people want there changes along the way. In Pickering and Ajax, next door to Scarborough, it is mostly airport runs and business trips into Toronto. In Whitby and Oshawa, farther from Pearson, the airport trip becomes long enough that a fixed fare really matters. And across the whole region, weekends bring weddings, proms and nights out. This guide covers all of it. For the airport fares in detail, see the Whitby and Oshawa to Pearson airport limo page and the Pickering and Ajax airport car page.
Durham airport fares by town
These are planning figures for one way to Toronto Pearson, all-in with chauffeur, fuel, any 407 toll, airport fees and gratuity, before HST. The reservation engine quotes your exact address, date and vehicle.
| From | Business sedan | Executive SUV or luxury van | Sprinter (14) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pickering | $180–220 | about $225–285 | about $400–480 |
| Ajax | $180–220 | about $225–285 | about $400–480 |
| Whitby and Brooklin | $220–265 | about $270–340 | about $480–580 |
| Oshawa | $220–265 | about $270–340 | about $480–580 |
| Courtice, Bowmanville, Newcastle | quoted by address | quoted by address | quoted by address |
A first-class sedan (S-Class or 7 Series) runs about half as much again as a business sedan. Clarington, Port Perry and Uxbridge are quoted by the engine because the distance varies so much.
Why the fare rises as you head east
Every kilometre east of the Rouge adds to the trip to Pearson, and the highways matter too. From Pickering the chauffeur has the choice of the 401 across the top of Toronto or the 407 from Brock Road; from Whitby and Oshawa, Highways 412 and 418 connect the 401 and the 407 and have been toll-free since 2022, while the 407 itself is tolled all the way west. The toll sits inside the fixed fare, so the chauffeur chooses by time, not by cost to you. On a weekday morning that almost always means the 407. The 407 ETR site explains how the road is billed; road conditions are on Ontario 511.
Pickering and Ajax: close to Toronto, far from Pearson
Pickering and Ajax residents often underestimate the Pearson run because downtown Toronto feels close. The airport is on the other side of the city, and the 401 through Scarborough and North York is the most congested stretch of road on the trip. Dispatch planning figures from central Ajax: about 45 minutes before 6 a.m., 70–90 minutes in the weekday morning peak on the 401, and noticeably less when the 407 is used. For Billy Bishop flights, Pickering and Ajax are actually well placed: the 401, DVP and Gardiner or Lake Shore Boulevard reach the mainland terminal in 40–60 minutes. Our Billy Bishop transfer is quoted by address.
Whitby, Oshawa and Clarington: the long run
From central Durham the Pearson trip is about 75 km, and it is long enough that the price model is the whole story. A metered ride over that distance in rush hour, or a rideshare with surge pricing in snow, can land far from what you expected. A fixed fare removes the guesswork: the number you see when you book on Tuesday is the number on the receipt, even if the 407 is slow in freezing rain. For early flights, remember that the drive is the long pole: a 6 a.m. departure from Oshawa typically means a 3 a.m. pickup.
Durham public transit to the airport, honestly
For a light traveller, transit works. GO Transit's Lakeshore East trains run from Pickering, Ajax, Whitby and Oshawa to Union Station, and the UP Express continues to Pearson Terminal 1. Durham Region Transit feeds the GO stations from local neighbourhoods. Check the current timetables on GO Transit. The drawbacks are predictable: at least one change with bags, a journey of two hours or more to the terminal, and no service early enough for dawn flights. For two or more travellers with suitcases, the fixed fare in a private car is often comparable per person, and sometimes cheaper once parking at Pearson is counted.

Weddings in Durham Region
Durham's wedding season fills lakeside venues, golf clubs, banquet halls, heritage estates and places of worship from Pickering to Bowmanville. A typical wedding day needs several vehicles: a car for the couple, SUVs for the parents, and something for the wedding party or guests between the ceremony, the photo location and the reception. Our own dispatch runs sedans, SUVs, luxury vans and 14-seat Sprinters; stretch limousines, Rolls-Royce cars and party buses come from vetted partner operators in the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network, and we say so on the booking. Weddings are priced in writing by a coordinator once the timeline is known. Start with our wedding limo service page.
Proms and graduations
Durham's secondary schools hold proms and graduations in late spring, and many families book a stretch limousine or party bus for the group. The planning figures for partner vehicles are $225–330 an hour for a stretch limousine with a four-hour minimum, and $330–525 an hour for a party bus with a four- to five-hour minimum. Parents should ask every operator the same questions: who is the operator, is the vehicle licensed and insured, what are the rules on alcohol (none, for minors), and what is the pickup and drop-off plan. Our prom and graduation limo page covers that checklist in more depth.
Nights out, casinos and Toronto events
Plenty of Durham limousine bookings have nothing to do with a flight. Common requests include a birthday dinner downtown with the car waiting, a concert or a Leafs or Raptors game at Scotiabank Arena, an evening at the casino in Pickering, and a family day at the Toronto Zoo just over the Rouge. For evenings, an hourly booking keeps the same chauffeur and vehicle with you; the planning figure is $130–150 an hour in a sedan and $160–190 in an SUV, three hours minimum. For bigger groups, see our party bus and limo bus page.
Ontario Tech, Durham College and student arrivals
The north Oshawa campus shared by Ontario Tech University and Durham College welcomes international students each term, most of them landing at Pearson after a long-haul flight. A pre-booked car is timed to the actual landing, with 60 minutes of included waiting after international arrivals. Students on the same flight can share an SUV and add each residence as a stop. Parents booking from abroad can add the student's mobile number for updates. See arriving in Canada at Pearson for the customs and eTA steps before the car.
Oshawa Executive Airport and private flights
Durham has no airport with scheduled airline service, but Oshawa Executive Airport on the north side of the city handles private aircraft, flight training and business aviation. For private flights we meet the aircraft through the handler and drive on to Toronto, Pearson or anywhere in Ontario; see our Oshawa airport (YOO) page. Connecting from a private flight to an airline departure at Pearson needs the full check-in margin at the other end.

Choosing a Durham limousine company: questions to ask
- Is the price fixed? Ask for the total, including tolls, airport fees and gratuity.
- Whose vehicle is it? Many companies subcontract; ask who operates the car on the day.
- Is the flight tracked on returns? A pickup at a set clock time is not the same thing.
- What waiting is included? Ours is 60 minutes on international arrivals, 30 on Canadian and US.
- What is the cancellation policy? Ours: free more than 72 hours ahead, 10 % within 72 hours, 50 % within 48 and 100 % within 24 hours or on a no-show.
- Are child seats supplied? Ontario's car-seat rules exempt taxis and buses for hire; we fit seats on request regardless.
Seasonal notes for Durham
Lake-effect snow off Lake Ontario can hit the Oshawa and Whitby lakeshore when Toronto is clear, and the 401 through Pickering slows with every storm. Dispatch checks Environment Canada and calls the evening before if a pickup should move earlier. Long weekends pile up eastbound traffic on Thursday and Friday and westbound on the holiday Monday, which matters for returns from Pearson that evening. The Region of Durham posts regional road work that can affect local pickups.
Booking a Durham limousine
Book online on any page or at the booking page: address, date, flight number if it is an airport run, passengers, bags and vehicle. The fixed fare appears before you confirm. For weddings, party buses or several vehicles, send the timeline and a coordinator replies with a written price. For the neighbouring Toronto borough and its own trade-offs, read Scarborough to Pearson: taxi vs limo vs car service.
Clarington, Port Perry and the rural north
Beyond Oshawa, the Durham map opens up. Courtice, Bowmanville and Newcastle in Clarington sit along the 401 and Highway 418, and the chauffeur usually heads north to the 407 from there. Port Perry, Uxbridge and the townships of Scugog and Brock are farther still, on country roads that can be dark and icy in winter. We quote all of them in the reservation engine; what helps the chauffeur most is a clear description in the booking notes: the lane, the gate, the colour of the mailbox, and a mobile number that works. For weddings at rural venues, the coordinator checks the driveway and turning space for larger partner vehicles before confirming.
Business travel from Durham
Durham's major employers, from the energy sector and the automotive industry to the regional government in Whitby and the hospitals, bring a regular flow of business travellers. Most of them fly out of Pearson on Monday mornings and home on Thursday evenings. A first-class sedan is the quiet option for working on the 407, and a corporate car service account keeps profiles, cost centres and monthly invoices together.
Pickering or Ajax to Billy Bishop instead?
For Porter and Air Canada flights to cities such as Montreal, Ottawa or Boston, west Durham residents sometimes find Billy Bishop more convenient than Pearson. The chauffeur drops at the mainland terminal on Eireann Quay, and you cross to the island by the pedestrian tunnel or the short ferry. Security lines are usually short, which trims the time you need at the airport. Compare the flight times first; if both airports suit, the shorter drive often decides it. Our guide on how to get to Billy Bishop airport explains the terminal layout.
