A Pearson FBO car service meets private and business aircraft at the fixed-base operators on the airport's north-east side rather than at Terminal 1 or 3. TorontoAirportTransfer.services tracks your tail number, stages the chauffeur at the FBO before the wheels touch, and quotes a fixed all-in fare. A business sedan to downtown or Bay Street is planned at $130–160 plus HST.
Pearson FBO car service: what the booking covers
A private jet transfer from Toronto Pearson is booked the same way as any other ride on this site, through the reservation engine on this page or at book a Pearson private jet transfer. You enter the FBO name, the tail number or flight number, the estimated block time and the destination. The engine shows one fixed fare that already includes the chauffeur, vehicle, fuel, airport fees, 407 tolls if we choose that road, and gratuity; HST is listed separately. Nothing is metered and nothing surges when a Gulfstream from Teterboro arrives at the same time as three Challengers from Florida. If the crew also needs a car to a hotel, add a second vehicle to the same reservation so dispatch sees the whole movement.
Which FBOs operate at Toronto Pearson today
Business aviation at Pearson is handled by fixed-base operators on the airport's north-east side, close to Airport Road and Derry Road East, well away from the passenger terminals. As of September 2026 the operators' own sites list Signature Aviation at 2450 Derry Road East, Execaire in Hangar 8 at the same Derry Road address, and Skyservice, which runs its Toronto Midfield and Toronto South business aviation centres. FBO names and buildings do change, so the reservation form asks you to type the operator exactly as your flight department or charter broker gave it. Our dispatcher confirms the building, gate and vehicle procedure with that FBO the day before, not on the morning of arrival.

Tail-number and flight tracking on private arrivals
Airline passengers are tracked by flight number; private aircraft are tracked by tail registration or the operator's call sign. Give us either and dispatch follows the flight from wheels-up at the origin, watching for diversions, holding over Lake Ontario and ground stops. The chauffeur is timed to your block-in at the FBO, not to the original schedule the charter broker emailed last week. A flight that departs Palm Beach forty minutes late simply moves the chauffeur's staging time. For departures we work backwards from your wheels-up slot, the FBO's recommended arrival buffer and live traffic on the 401 and 427, and we tell you the pickup time we recommend when we confirm.
Ramp-side or lobby-side pickup
The fare includes a lobby-side pickup: the chauffeur waits in the FBO's customer lounge or at its front door with your name, and walks you and the bags to the car at the kerb. Ramp-side pickup, where the car drives airside to the aircraft steps, is possible only where the FBO permits it, where its security escort process is followed and where the vehicle and driver are cleared for that visit. Some operators allow it for specific aircraft positions, others never do, and rules change with airport security directives. Tell us you want ramp-side service at booking; dispatch asks the FBO, and we will tell you plainly if the answer is no rather than promise it at the curb.
Customs and CANPASS on international private arrivals
A private aircraft arriving from outside Canada must clear the Canada Border Services Agency before anyone leaves the FBO. Signature's own page lists onsite customs at limited weekday hours, and Execaire lists Canada customs clearance at its Pearson facility; arrangements outside those windows depend on the operator and CBSA. Frequent flyers may belong to the CANPASS Corporate Aircraft or Private Aircraft programs, which change how arrival is reported and where you may land. Official rules live on cbsa-asfc.gc.ca; your pilot or flight department handles the reporting. Our part is simple: the chauffeur stays in the lounge until the FBO says the passengers are cleared, and customs time counts toward the included waiting we describe below.
Included waiting at a private terminal
Waiting is measured from the actual block-in at the FBO. International arrivals from outside the US include 60 minutes, which comfortably covers a customs clearance and a bathroom stop; domestic arrivals and flights from the US include 30 minutes. After that, waiting is charged in 15-minute blocks shown in advance in the reservation engine. For departures the pickup is a point-to-point pickup with 15 minutes included at your hotel or office. When a principal wants the car held all afternoon, book the hourly chauffeur service instead, which keeps the same chauffeur on call for meetings, a lunch in Yorkville and the return run to the FBO without a second booking.
Planning fares from the Pearson FBOs
| Destination from Pearson FBO | Business sedan | First-class sedan | Executive SUV | Sprinter |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Downtown / Bay Street | $130–160 | $195–240 | $165–205 | $285–345 |
| Yorkville / Midtown | $130–160 | $195–240 | $165–205 | $285–345 |
| North York | $105–135 | $160–205 | $135–175 | $235–300 |
| Oakville | $120–150 | $180–225 | $150–195 | $265–330 |
| Vaughan / King | $115–145 | $175–220 | $145–190 | $250–315 |
| Hourly (3 h minimum) | $130–150/h | first-class on request | $160–190/h | $225–270/h |
These are planning figures for one way, all-in, plus HST. Yorkville uses the same planning band as downtown. The reservation engine quotes the exact FBO, address, date and vehicle, and that is the price you pay. Compare the full flat-rate fare table for the rest of the Greater Toronto Area.
Drive times to downtown, Yorkville and Bay Street
From the north-east corner of the airfield, the usual run to the financial district is Airport Road or Dixie to Highway 401, then the 427 south and the Gardiner Expressway east. Outside rush hour that is 25–35 minutes to King and Bay. Weekday mornings from 7:00 to 9:30 and afternoons from 3:30 to 6:30 can stretch it to 45–60 minutes, especially when the Gardiner has lane closures. Yorkville is often faster via the 401 east and Avenue Road south, about 30–45 minutes off-peak. Dispatch checks Ontario 511 before every staging and picks the road, so the fixed fare never changes because we detoured.
Choosing a vehicle for passengers, crew and bags
Private travellers tend to carry more than airline travellers: golf bags, garment carriers and cases of wine. Our chauffeur-driven fleet covers most parties: a business sedan for up to three passengers with three bags, a first-class sedan (S-Class or 7 Series) for principals, an executive SUV for six people or bulky luggage, and a Sprinter for up to 14 with luggage. A Rolls-Royce Ghost or Phantom, or a Maybach, is provided through vetted partner operators in the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network, booked through us at the same standard. See Rolls-Royce and exotic chauffeur service for how those bookings work.

Crew transport and overnight positioning
Pilots and cabin crew usually want to get to the hotel quickly after a long duty day, rarely to a downtown address. Hotels near the airport strip on Dixon Road, Airport Road and in the Mississauga business parks are 10–20 minutes from the FBOs. Book crew as a separate vehicle so the principal's car is never held for a fuel uplift or post-flight paperwork. A standing crew account can be set up through corporate car service with monthly invoicing, cost-centre references and a single contact at dispatch. For crews who reposition to Billy Bishop or Hamilton the same day, we quote the transfer between airfields at the same fixed-fare terms.
Catering runs and last-minute errands
Flight departments often need a vehicle for things rather than people: a catering order collected from a downtown restaurant, a forgotten passport retrieved from a Rosedale house, flowers for the cabin, or a document courier to a law office on Bay Street. We run these as point-to-point jobs with a chauffeur, not an anonymous courier, and the chauffeur hands the item to the FBO's customer service desk against a signature. Tell us the temperature needs of food orders so the car is pre-cooled or pre-warmed. Timing matters: we plan for the item to reach the FBO at least 45 minutes before the crew's cut-off so it can be loaded without delaying the slot.
Discretion and confidentiality
People fly privately partly to avoid being seen, and we treat the ride the same way. Chauffeurs wear plain dark suits, vehicles carry no roof signs or livery, and the name board is used only if you ask for one. Passenger names are shared with the chauffeur and the FBO only; they are not written on dispatch whiteboards or in social media. Chauffeurs do not start conversations about the aircraft, the passenger's business or where they came from, and they never photograph an aircraft or a guest. When a client travels with a security detail, we coordinate with the detail lead directly; see VIP and executive protection transport for what we can and cannot provide.
Departures: getting to the FBO on time
Private departures are more forgiving than airline check-in, but the slot is real. Most operators recommend passengers arrive 20–30 minutes before wheels-up for a Canadian or US flight and longer for international flights that need exit paperwork. We schedule the pickup from your hotel or office using that buffer plus live traffic. From downtown in the late afternoon, allow up to an hour; from Oakville or Vaughan, 30–45 minutes. The chauffeur drives straight to the FBO building, not to the passenger terminals, so tell us the operator at booking. If your plans move, a text to dispatch shifts the pickup; the fixed fare stays the same.
Pearson FBO versus the passenger terminals
Some travellers flying on a scheduled airline ask whether they can use a private terminal; unless they have bought a premium service from the airline or an FBO, they cannot. Commercial passengers arrive at Terminal 1 or 3 and meet us at the terminal's commercial pickup area; our Pearson airport limo page covers that flow, and the terminal finder tells you which terminal your airline uses. Private passengers never go near those terminals, which is why the FBO field on the reservation form matters. A car sent to Terminal 3 for a Signature arrival costs everyone 15 minutes, so dispatch double-checks the address against the operator name before assigning a chauffeur.
Winter operations and de-icing delays
Between November and March, private departures are often held for de-icing at the FBO or at a remote pad, and arrivals can be delayed by runway clearing. Because we track the actual flight, snow delays move the staging time automatically. Our vehicles carry winter tires, and the chauffeur pre-heats the cabin before you step out of the lounge. Allow extra time on departures when Environment Canada posts snowfall warnings; the 401 through Mississauga slows dramatically in heavy snow. If a flight diverts to Hamilton or Ottawa, dispatch can reroute the car or send one from the nearest point; the new fare is quoted before we move.
Children, pets and accessibility on private flights
Whatever the exemptions for taxis and buses, we fit the right child seat for every child who needs one. Add infant, convertible or booster seats at booking; they are free or a small planning figure of $10–15 each, and the chauffeur installs them before you land. Read the province's guidance on choosing the right car seat and our child car seat transfers page. Small pets in carriers ride in sedans and SUVs if you tell us in advance. For guests using a wheelchair, request a ramp-equipped vehicle through wheelchair-accessible transfers so the FBO can plan the ramp or lift for the aircraft.
Booking checklist for flight departments
Give dispatch five things and the transfer runs smoothly: the FBO name as listed on your trip sheet, tail number or call sign, estimated block-in in local time, passenger count with bag count, and destination address. Add the lead passenger's mobile number if they want a text when the car is staged. Charter brokers can book on behalf of the client and receive the confirmation separately. Cancellation follows our standard rule, measured from the scheduled pickup: more than 72 hours before is free, 72 hours or less is 10 %, 48 hours or less is 50 %, and 24 hours or less or a no-show is 100 %.
