A Niagara Falls station transfer with TorontoAirportTransfer.services is a pre-booked chauffeured car from the Bridge Street train station to Fallsview hotels, Niagara-on-the-Lake wineries, Pearson or Buffalo airport. The planning figure to Pearson is $345–420 one way in a business sedan, all-in plus HST. The reservation engine shows the exact fixed fare before you confirm, and the chauffeur tracks your train.
Niagara Falls station transfer: what the station is
The Niagara Falls, Ontario, train station stands at 4267 Bridge Street in the older part of the city, a short distance from the Whirlpool Rapids Bridge. It dates from the late 1800s and was acquired by the Niagara Region from VIA Rail in 2022, and it is being redeveloped as a multi-modal hub. Today it is served by GO Transit trains on the Lakeshore West line, GO bus route 12, and the Amtrak and VIA Maple Leaf between Toronto and New York City. A Niagara Falls station transfer means a chauffeur is parked at the agreed pickup point on Bridge Street when your train arrives, and drives you on to the hotel strip, the wineries, the airport or across the border.
What a car from Niagara Falls station costs
The planning figure for Niagara Falls to Pearson is $345–420 one way in a business sedan, all-in plus HST. That includes the chauffeur, vehicle, fuel, 407 tolls if used, airport fees and gratuity. An executive SUV or luxury van is about 25–30 % more and a Sprinter for up to 14 roughly 2.2 times the sedan fare. Short hops from the station to Fallsview or Clifton Hill hotels, to Niagara-on-the-Lake inns and to Buffalo Niagara International are quoted by exact address; they are far shorter than the Toronto run. For a day of touring after you step off the train, hourly service in a sedan is $130–150 with a three-hour minimum. The full breakdown sits on the Toronto airport limo rates page.

Trains that stop at Niagara Falls, Ontario
Three services use the Bridge Street station. GO Transit runs Lakeshore West trains from Union Station through Oakville, Burlington, St. Catharines and Grimsby to Niagara Falls every day, with weekend service year-round, and the timetable changes seasonally, so check it for your date. The Maple Leaf, operated jointly by Amtrak and VIA Rail, runs once a day each way between Toronto Union Station and New York's Moynihan Train Hall, about 12 and a half hours end to end, crossing the border between the two Niagara Falls stations. VIA's own Toronto–Niagara Corridor trains were discontinued in 2012, so the Maple Leaf is the only VIA-branded train here. GO bus route 12 also stops at the station and links it with the Burlington and Toronto areas.
Where the chauffeur meets you on Bridge Street
Because the station is mid-redevelopment, the curb layout on Bridge Street changes from time to time. Dispatch confirms the exact pickup point the day before and sends a text about 20 minutes before your train with the car's plate and position. The fare includes curbside pickup: you walk out with your bags and the chauffeur loads them. If you would like the chauffeur on the platform with a name board, add meet and greet at booking; the planning figure is $25–35. That is worth it for older travellers, first-time visitors to Canada coming off the Maple Leaf and anyone with a lot of luggage. Station pickups include 15 minutes of waiting from actual arrival, then 15-minute blocks, and we message before any extra waiting is billed.

Arriving on the Maple Leaf from New York
Maple Leaf passengers coming north from New York cross into Canada at Niagara Falls, and border processing for that train takes place around the two Niagara Falls stations, so the train can sit for a while before continuing. That makes Niagara Falls a sensible place to leave the train if the Falls are your destination, and it also means arrival times move. We track the Maple Leaf from the US side and adjust the chauffeur to its real arrival. Visitors from outside the United States should check Canadian entry requirements before travel on the Canada Border Services Agency site; US citizens do not need an eTA. Amtrak reservations are required on the Maple Leaf, so your ticket gives us the train number to track.
Station to the Falls hotels and Clifton Hill
The big hotels on Fallsview Boulevard and around Clifton Hill are only a few kilometres from the station, but the route through the tourist district is slow on summer weekends, when River Road, Victoria Avenue and Falls Avenue fill with cars and pedestrians. The chauffeur knows each hotel's porte-cochère and drop-off lane, which matters with luggage. Local WEGO buses also connect the station area with the tourist district; the WEGO Niagara Falls site has routes and hours. For the attractions themselves, Niagara Parks lists the Journey Behind the Falls, the boat tours and seasonal hours. If you are planning a full day, our Niagara Falls attraction guide explains where to park the car and where to be dropped.
Wineries and Niagara-on-the-Lake
Many train travellers come for wine country rather than the waterfall. The drive from the station north along the Niagara Parkway to Niagara-on-the-Lake takes about 20 to 30 minutes and passes several of the region's best-known estates. An hourly booking is the sensible way to do a tasting day: the chauffeur stays with you, you never worry about who is driving, and a sedan runs $130–150 an hour with a three-hour minimum. Wine Country Ontario lists wineries and tasting-room hours, and many estates now want tasting reservations on weekends. For groups of eight or more, a stretch limousine or party bus from a vetted partner operator is priced in writing by a coordinator. Our Niagara wine tours page has suggested itineraries.

Niagara Falls station to Pearson: roads and timing
The drive from Bridge Street to Pearson is about 130 kilometres via the QEW through St. Catharines, Hamilton and Burlington, then Highway 403 or the QEW and 427 to the airport. Allow roughly an hour and a half with clear roads. The QEW around the Burlington Skyway and through Oakville and Mississauga is the part that slows down, especially Friday and Sunday afternoons in summer, and Highway 407 is often faster, with its tolls already included in the fare. For an international flight we suggest leaving Niagara Falls about four hours before departure. Returning from Pearson to Niagara after a flight is covered on our Pearson to Niagara Falls route page, including flight tracking and the waiting allowance at the airport.
Niagara Falls station to Buffalo airport
Many travellers arrive by train and fly out of Buffalo Niagara International (BUF), which often has cheaper US fares. From the Bridge Street station the drive is about 40 kilometres. The chauffeur normally crosses at the Peace Bridge in Fort Erie or the Lewiston–Queenston Bridge, choosing whichever has shorter wait times on the day; the Peace Bridge site posts live border waits. Every passenger needs a passport or accepted travel document, and non-US citizens may need a US visa or ESTA before arrival at the US border. Allow extra time on summer weekends and US holidays. The Buffalo Niagara airport page and our cross-border limo service explain the border process from the back seat.
GO train versus car to Toronto
For a solo traveller heading back to downtown Toronto with a small bag, the GO train from Niagara Falls to Union Station is inexpensive and comfortable, and the schedule is published on gotransit.com. A car makes more sense for a family, for anyone going straight to Pearson rather than downtown, and when the last GO train does not suit your plans. From Union Station to Pearson you would still need UP Express, a change that is simple with a backpack and hard with three suitcases and children. For a group of three or four, a single sedan or SUV fare split between everyone is often close to the combined rail and UP Express tickets. Our best way from Toronto to Niagara Falls guide compares bus, train, tour and car.
Families, groups and events
Niagara Falls attracts weddings, family reunions, school groups and conference delegates, and many of them arrive by train. For up to six people with luggage, an executive SUV or luxury van is the right choice; for up to 14, a Sprinter. Child seats (infant, convertible, booster) are available on request and must be added at booking; Ontario requires them in private vehicles, and taxis are exempt, which is a good reason not to rely on the taxi line with young children. Larger wedding parties, coaches for tour groups and party buses come from vetted partner operators and are priced in writing by a coordinator. The Niagara Falls Tourism site lists festivals and events that affect traffic and hotel occupancy.
Seasonal timing: summer crowds and winter lights
Summer is the busiest period at the Falls, and the tourist district can gridlock on long weekends. We schedule station pickups with that in mind and may suggest a slightly earlier departure for a flight. From November to January the Winter Festival of Lights brings evening traffic to the Niagara Parkway and Dufferin Islands. Winter weather on the QEW is usually manageable, but lake-effect snow off Lake Erie can hit the Fort Erie area and the Peace Bridge approach. Every vehicle on our own dispatch runs winter tires in the cold months, and dispatch checks road reports before long runs.
Arriving at Pearson and heading for the Falls
Some visitors plan to take the GO train to Niagara after flying into Pearson, then realise it means UP Express to Union Station, a wait and a two-hour train ride with suitcases. A direct car from the airport often makes more sense for a family or anyone arriving tired from an overnight flight. The chauffeur tracks your flight, meets you at the pre-arranged commercial pickup area at Terminal 1 or Terminal 3, and drives straight down the QEW to the hotel door. Waiting time of 60 minutes after an international landing and 30 minutes after a Canadian or US one is included. Our Pearson airport limo page explains the arrival process in detail.
How to book your Niagara Falls station pickup
Open the reservation engine and choose "From station". Enter Niagara Falls station on Bridge Street as the pickup, add your destination, train (GO, Maple Leaf) and scheduled arrival time, then choose the vehicle and extras. The fixed fare appears before you confirm. For a return trip from a hotel to the station for a Maple Leaf departure, book a separate leg and allow time for Amtrak's boarding and border process; Amtrak asks passengers to arrive well before departure. Changes more than 72 hours before pickup are free; after that the sitewide cancellation scale applies. For local services and road closures, the City of Niagara Falls posts updates.
