For a Mumbai to Toronto Pearson arrival, TorontoAirportTransfer.services tracks the flight that lands in Toronto, whether Air India's seasonal non-stop or a connection via Europe or the Gulf, and includes 60 minutes of waiting from landing. Pearson to Mississauga is a planning figure of $90–120 in a business sedan and Markham about $145–180, all-in before HST, confirmed before you book.
Mumbai to Toronto Pearson: how most people actually travel
For years there was no regular non-stop between Mumbai and Toronto, so most Mumbai to Toronto Pearson journeys have involved a connection: through London, Frankfurt, Paris, Zurich or Amsterdam in Europe, through Dubai, Doha or Abu Dhabi in the Gulf, through Istanbul, or via Delhi onto the non-stop from there. That has changed for this winter. Air India has announced a seasonal non-stop between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International and Toronto, three times a week from 25 October 2026 to 26 March 2027, on a Boeing 777-300ER. Whichever way you come, the booking is the same: give us the final flight into Toronto, the drop-off address and the bag count, and confirm one all-in price.
Why the flight number matters so much on a connection
On a two-sector itinerary, the car is timed to the aircraft landing in Toronto, and that is the only flight number dispatch needs. If the first flight out of Mumbai is late and you miss the connection in Frankfurt or Dubai, the airline will usually rebook you on its next departure; send the new flight number and the pickup moves automatically. If the rebooking puts you on a different airline, your Pearson terminal may change from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3 or the reverse. The terminal finder settles that in seconds, and dispatch repositions the car. No change fee applies when the airline changes your flight; that is simply part of an airport pickup.
Terminals at Pearson for Mumbai journeys
Air India, Air Canada, Lufthansa, Swiss and other Star Alliance carriers use Terminal 1, which is where Air India's non-stop and many European connections will arrive. Gulf and other non-Star Alliance carriers often use Terminal 3. Rather than guess, look at your boarding pass or check your final flight in the terminal finder. The Mumbai airport site covers terminal information at the departure end, including which of its terminals your first flight leaves from.
Planning fares for Mumbai arrivals
Planning figures, one way from Pearson, all-in before HST. Your exact fare depends on the street address, the date and the vehicle, and the engine shows it before you pay.

Where Mumbai travellers are headed
Mumbai's travellers are a broad mix: Gujarati and Maharashtrian families, Parsi and Goan relatives, finance and technology professionals on assignment, film and media people, and students. Destinations spread accordingly. Mississauga, Brampton and Oakville account for many family trips; Markham and Scarborough have well-established South Asian neighbourhoods as well; and business visitors usually head downtown to the financial district or to hotels near the Mississauga Airport Corporate Centre. Pages for Mississauga and Markham cover drive times and local detail. For multi-stop days after arrival, a chauffeur by the hour is often simpler than several separate bookings.
Entry to Canada for Indian passport holders
Indian citizens need a visitor visa to enter Canada, or a study permit, work permit or permanent resident documents, as applicable; India is on the visa-required list, not the eTA list. Travellers connecting through a third country must also meet that country's transit rules, which vary by airport and can require a transit visa; check before you book a connection. Canada's entry requirements by country page and IRCC are the official sources. We do not advise on immigration, but we plan the car around it: permit holders and new permanent residents often spend extra time with an officer before they reach the baggage hall.

Jet lag after a 20-hour journey
With a connection, Mumbai to Toronto is often twenty hours or more door to door. Mumbai is nine and a half hours ahead of Toronto in summer and ten and a half in winter, so arrivals at Pearson in the afternoon feel like the middle of the night. The ride is where that fatigue shows. Families with sleepy children, parents who have not slept since Mumbai and students carrying everything they own for the next two years all do better in a car that is already waiting. Sit, belt up, and leave the route choice to the chauffeur. Bottled water and phone chargers are in the vehicle.
Customs at Pearson
Follow the signs to Canada Border Services Agency inspection after landing. Kiosks or eGates process most travellers first, and an officer then checks documents. Declare all food, plant and animal products, which on a Mumbai flight often means spices, snacks, sweets and pickles, plus currency or monetary instruments of CAN$10,000 or more; the CBSA explains the rules in full. Declared food is often allowed through; undeclared food risks penalties. Advance Declaration in ArriveCAN is optional at Pearson and can shorten the kiosk step. Then collect bags, clear the exit and message dispatch, who confirms the pickup spot.
Waiting time included
International arrivals include 60 minutes of waiting from the aircraft's actual landing time. On a connecting itinerary that lands in the late afternoon alongside several other long-haul flights, the immigration hall can be busy, and the hour gives you a cushion. If you are held longer, perhaps for a study or work permit, message dispatch; after the included hour, waiting is billed in 15-minute blocks and we tell you first. The chauffeur waits at the terminal's pre-arranged commercial pickup area; with meet & greet, they wait inside the arrivals hall instead.
Meet & greet and passenger assistance
Meet & greet, a planning figure of $25–35, puts the chauffeur in the arrivals hall with a name board. We recommend it for grandparents travelling without family, for anyone who will need airline wheelchair assistance, and for students arriving in Canada for the first time. If a wheelchair has been booked with the airline, tell us at booking and the chauffeur coordinates with the airline agent at the exit. For travellers with reduced mobility who need a ramp-equipped vehicle, see wheelchair accessible transfers; those are planned separately.
Students bound for colleges across Ontario
Mumbai sends a steady flow of students to campuses in the GTA and beyond. Many are heading to Brampton, Oakville, Mississauga, Toronto, Waterloo or London, Ontario, and arrive with two large suitcases and a backpack. A business sedan takes three passengers and three large bags, so two students with four cases need an SUV or van. Longer runs are straightforward from the arrivals curb: Kitchener-Waterloo is a planning figure of $265–325 and London $445–520 in a business sedan, all-in before HST. A parent back in Mumbai can make the booking and receive the updates. The long-distance car service page explains fares outside the GTA.

Roads, rush hours and the 401
Pearson sits beside Highways 401, 427 and 410. Mississauga and Brampton addresses are usually 20 to 35 minutes away. Markham and Scarborough are across the city, and the 401 between Pearson and the Don Valley Parkway is one of the most congested stretches of highway on the continent; in weekday rush hour the drive can take over an hour. Chauffeurs compare the 401 with the 407, a toll road that often saves time to Markham and north Scarborough; when it is used, the toll is already in the fare. Winter storms add time from December to March. Road conditions are on Ontario 511.
Travelling with children from Mumbai
Whatever the exemptions for taxis and buses, we fit the right child seat for every child who needs one. The government's car seat guide explains which suits your child. A family of four with a stroller and six bags will want the luxury van. Tell dispatch if a child is travelling as an unaccompanied minor with airline escort; we can meet the escort in the arrivals hall with meet & greet and confirm handover arrangements with you in advance.
The return leg to Mumbai
For departures, book the return when you book the arrival. The engine suggests a pickup time from your address, the hour and the three-hour check-in window for long-haul flights. Because many Mumbai journeys connect, check which terminal your first flight departs from; it may be different from the one you arrived at. From Markham or Scarborough, leave extra time for the 401. The page on how early to arrive at Pearson sets out timing by departure hour and terminal.
Business travellers from Mumbai
Mumbai is India's financial capital, and a good share of arrivals are bankers, consultants and technology staff heading to Bay Street, Mississauga's corporate parks or client offices in Markham. For them, a first-class sedan (S-Class or 7 Series) makes the drive a place to rest or take a call, and a corporate car service account keeps receipts in one place. A chauffeur by the hour, from a three-hour minimum, suits an arrival day packed with meetings.
Festival seasons and peak dates
Travel between Mumbai and Toronto peaks around Diwali, the December holidays and the Canadian summer break, and again when colleges start in September and January. Those weeks bring fuller flights, longer immigration lines and heavier luggage. Book the car as soon as your flight is confirmed, choose a vehicle one size larger than you think you need, and add the return leg at the same time. Family groups arriving together can book several vehicles on one reservation.
Arriving via Delhi on the same trip
Some Mumbai travellers take a domestic flight to Delhi and then Air India's Delhi–Toronto non-stop. That keeps the whole journey on one ticket and lands at Terminal 1. Give us the Delhi–Toronto flight number, and if your domestic sector is delayed and you are moved to a later departure, simply send the new number.
A quick checklist before you fly
- Carry passports, visas, permit letters and prescription medicines in your cabin bag.
- Save the Canadian address, a local contact number and the booking confirmation on your phone and on paper.
- Turn on roaming or add a Canadian eSIM so the chauffeur's message reaches you on landing.
- Note the operating airline of your final flight so we can confirm the terminal.
Changes and cancellation
When the airline changes or cancels your flight, update the flight number and the pickup moves; that is not a cancellation. Cancelling the transfer yourself costs nothing if you do it more than 72 hours ahead of pickup; after that the charge is 10 % inside 72 hours, 50 % inside 48 hours and the full fare inside 24 hours or on a no-show.
