An Oshawa Executive Airport car service meets private and business flights at YOO, the City of Oshawa's general aviation airport on the eastern edge of the GTA. As of September 2026 Enterprise Aviation Group lists FBO services at the airport on its own site. TorontoAirportTransfer.services tracks the aircraft, waits at the FBO and charges one fixed all-in fare; downtown Toronto is 50–65 minutes away off-peak.
Oshawa Executive Airport car service: how to book
Use the reservation engine on this page or book an Oshawa private flight pickup. Type the FBO or hangar named on your trip sheet, the aircraft registration, your estimated arrival and the destination. You see one fixed fare that includes the chauffeur, vehicle, fuel, airport fees, 407 ETR tolls if we take that highway, and gratuity; HST appears on its own line. Because the 407 is often the fastest way west from Oshawa, the toll question matters here: dispatch picks the road on the day, and the price you confirmed never changes. The chauffeur arrives at the airfield before your actual landing, not the scheduled one, and texts the lead passenger once staged.
The airport and its FBO
The airport sits at 1200 Airport Boulevard in north Oshawa and is owned by the City; its official page is on oshawa.ca. The City has stated it will operate the airport through at least 2033, and it describes a full-service fixed-base operation open around the clock. Enterprise Aviation Group lists an FBO at CYOO on its own site, open 24 hours, along with charter and aircraft management. Airport management arrangements are set by the City and can change, so give us the operator named on your trip sheet and we will confirm the building and door with them before you fly. We are an independent chauffeur service, not part of the airport or any FBO.

Who flies into Oshawa
Oshawa Executive is a general aviation airport: flight schools, charter operators, corporate turboprops and light jets, police and medical flights. For business travellers it is the natural choice when the meeting is in Durham Region, at the auto and energy employers along the lakeshore, at Ontario Tech University or in north-east GTA municipalities such as Markham, Pickering and Uxbridge. It also works for cottage trips toward the Kawarthas and Peterborough, which are closer from Oshawa than from Pearson. For downtown Toronto it competes with Pearson on road time only outside rush hour; at 8 a.m. on a weekday, the 401 westbound makes Pearson or Billy Bishop the better choice.
Tracking your aircraft
Dispatch follows the aircraft by registration or call sign from departure and sets the chauffeur's staging time from the live arrival estimate. Smaller airports see more weather sensitivity than Pearson: low cloud, freezing rain and lake-effect snow off Lake Ontario can delay or divert flights. If your aircraft diverts to Pearson or another airfield your pilot chooses, we redirect the car or send the nearest one and quote any fare change before the chauffeur moves. On departures, we time the pickup to your slot plus the operator's preferred arrival buffer.
Ramp and lobby pickups at a small field
At a general aviation airport it is tempting to assume a car can drive up to the aircraft. Whether it can is decided by the FBO and the airport's security rules, not by us. Our fare includes a lobby-side pickup, with the chauffeur in the FBO's customer area and your bags walked to the car at the kerb. If you want ramp-side service, ask at booking; dispatch will request it from the operator, follow any escort requirement if it agrees, and tell you plainly if it does not. Winter conditions on the apron often make the lobby the better choice anyway.
Customs and CANPASS at Oshawa
International private flights must clear the Canada Border Services Agency on arrival, and at a smaller airport clearance is arranged in advance rather than walk-up. The City's pilot information explains the local arrangements, and your pilot or flight department handles the report. Travellers in the CANPASS private or corporate aircraft programs follow the reporting rules for their program; the official source is cbsa-asfc.gc.ca. Our chauffeur waits at the FBO until passengers are cleared. International arrivals from outside the US include 60 minutes of waiting from landing, domestic and US arrivals 30 minutes, and any extra time is charged in 15-minute blocks shown before you confirm.
Drive times from Oshawa Executive Airport
| From YOO to | Off-peak | Weekday peak | Usual road |
|---|---|---|---|
| Downtown Oshawa / Whitby | 10–20 min | 20–30 min | Local roads, 401 |
| Pickering / Ajax | 20–30 min | 35–50 min | 401 or 407 |
| Markham | 35–45 min | 50–70 min | 407 ETR |
| Downtown Toronto / Bay Street | 50–65 min | 80–110 min | 401, DVP or Gardiner |
| Toronto Pearson | 50–65 min | 75–100 min | 407 ETR or 401 |
| Peterborough | 50–60 min | 55–70 min | 407, Hwy 115 |
These are dispatcher planning estimates. The 401 through Pickering and Scarborough is the variable to watch; we check Ontario 511 before every trip and choose between the 401 and the 407 ETR.
Planning fares from Oshawa
Oshawa trips are priced by the reservation engine on the exact address, date and vehicle, so enter your destination to see the fixed fare. For a sense of scale, the Pearson to Whitby/Oshawa planning band is $220–265 in a business sedan, all-in plus HST, and YOO to Pearson falls in that range. A first-class sedan runs about 50 % more, an executive SUV about 25–30 % more and a Sprinter about 2.2 times the sedan fare. Short local runs to Durham addresses cost much less. Hourly service starts at a planning figure of $130–150 in a sedan with a three-hour minimum, useful for site visits across Durham Region. Our rates page shows all planning bands.
Vehicles for Oshawa arrivals
Most business flights into Oshawa carry small parties. A business sedan covers three passengers and three bags, and a first-class sedan gives a principal an S-Class or 7 Series. An executive SUV seats six with luggage and is the right call in winter or for cottage trips with coolers and fishing gear. Groups arriving for a site tour can use a Sprinter for up to 14. Stretch limousines, party buses and coaches, if you need them for an event after landing, are supplied by vetted partner operators and priced in writing by a coordinator.

Crew transport
Crew overnights at Oshawa are usually at hotels in Oshawa and Whitby near the 401, 10–20 minutes from the field. Book crew as their own vehicle so they are not tied to the principal's schedule. When an aircraft is based at Oshawa and the crew live across the GTA, we run early report-time pickups and late drop-offs on a standing account through corporate car service, invoiced monthly with tail numbers and trip references. Tell us the report time and duty day, and dispatch schedules around it; for 5 a.m. departures we stage the night before if the forecast calls for snow.
Catering and errands
Oshawa's FBO customers often want catering from Toronto restaurants, and that means a long run east. We collect orders, documents and personal items and deliver them to the FBO desk against a signature. Plan for at least 60–90 minutes in the car from downtown Toronto plus a 45-minute buffer before the crew's cut-off; from Whitby or Oshawa restaurants the timing is much easier. Tell us whether the order needs to stay hot or chilled. If traffic puts delivery at risk, the chauffeur calls the FBO directly so the crew can decide whether to wait.
Discretion and service standards
Chauffeurs dress in plain dark suits, drive unmarked vehicles and use a name board only on request. They do not talk about passengers, aircraft or itineraries with anyone and never photograph guests. On the longer drives west they keep conversation to what you want, and the car carries water and phone chargers. Our standards are written and checked through our memberships in LimousineWorldwide.Directory and LimousineAssociation.International. When a principal travels with close protection, we coordinate directly with the detail lead; read VIP and executive protection transport for details.
Departures from Oshawa
Most operators want passengers at the FBO 20–30 minutes before wheels-up. From downtown Toronto we typically recommend leaving 75–90 minutes before that in the late afternoon, and 60 minutes at midday; from Markham or Pickering, 35–50 minutes. The chauffeur drives directly to the FBO building on the airfield, not to a public terminal, so name the operator at booking. If your meeting runs late, text dispatch and we adjust the pickup and, if you want, tell the FBO you are on your way.
Oshawa versus other private airfields
For Durham Region and the north-east GTA, Oshawa usually wins on total time. For the core, Billy Bishop is closest if the aircraft is a turboprop, and the Pearson FBOs take any jet around the clock. Our Oshawa airport page covers the airfield in general, and the Whitby and Oshawa city page covers local trips, including runs to Pearson for airline flights. The Oshawa GO and VIA station page helps guests continuing by train.
Children, pets and accessibility
Add infant, convertible or booster seats at booking; they are free or a small planning figure of $10–15 each and installed before you land. Whatever the exemptions for taxis and buses, we fit the right child seat for every child who needs one; the province's car seat guidance explains the stages. Pets in carriers ride in sedans and SUVs if we know in advance. Guests using wheelchairs can request a ramp-equipped vehicle through wheelchair-accessible transfers.
Site visits across Durham Region
A typical Oshawa business trip is not one ride but several: a plant or campus in the morning, lunch in Whitby, a meeting in Pickering, then back to the aircraft. Rather than booking four transfers, book the car by the hour and keep the same chauffeur and vehicle all day, with bags locked in the boot between stops. The chauffeur learns the itinerary the night before, checks entrances and visitor parking at each site, and keeps an eye on the 401 so the last leg back to the FBO is never rushed. Tell dispatch about security gates, hard-hat sites or visitor badges; the chauffeur arrives early enough to sort out access without delaying you.
Returning to Toronto for an airline connection
Some passengers fly privately into Oshawa and continue on a scheduled airline from Pearson the same day. Build in more time than the map suggests: the 407 ETR is usually the most reliable road, but a long-haul check-in at Terminal 1 or 3 still needs the airline's own buffer on top. Tell us the airline flight number and we will recommend a departure time from the FBO. Our Pearson airport limo page explains the terminal drop-off, and the chauffeur can take you straight to the correct door.
Booking checklist
Send the FBO name, aircraft registration, estimated arrival, passenger and bag count, and destination. Add the lead passenger's mobile. Cancellation runs from the scheduled pickup: more than 72 hours ahead is free; 72 hours or less, 10 %; 48 hours or less, 50 %; 24 hours or less or a no-show, 100 %. The private jet and FBO transfers page lists every airfield we serve across Ontario.
